Anyone using assist gems deserves hate mail, win or lose.
Rather than writing hate mail (which I often want to) I always make an effort to say “gg, but don’t use assist gems. That’s just a dick move.” I want to help create a culture online that using assist gems is not okay, and I feel like hating on the people who use them will only encourage them to more gleefully use them just to troll everyone.
If I can’t handle the salt to say anything other than “gg”, I just send nothing. I have had the urge to send some vile-ass shit to Auto-gem users though. XD
That’s true - most that troll are further encouraged by hate, and I just see most Auto-gem users that way, intentional or not. It’s what they feeeeeed off of, it’s how they live. Their day isn’t complete until someone has an aneurism while sending a voice message.
maybe its because im still low ranked (just got the game a few days ago so im still a C) but i havnt got any hatemail yet, one guy sent me a message wanting to team up and play, but thats been about it. my rep has went from 90% positive to 60% negative though, so i guess im doing something right
High ranked players using assist gems, then having the nerve to send you hate mail because you suck apparently in their eyes? That’s just priceless, pure comedy gold.
I’m low ranked myself (not a good player either), so there is no beter feeling than exposing these guys in matches. I like the part you beat them like 5 to nothing, and they quickly quit your lobby before you’re back for more. Yeah, you better run! 
I mean, I don’t wanna sound like I’m boasting, but I’m pretty good at this game. Good enough that I can beat a lot of players online (The only players yet to defeat me consistently are Legit_Reapz and RiyuRimururu), so when I see players like this who claim they’re so fantastically good, but need something to block for them? Yeah, that shit ain’t gonna fly.
Got my first hate mail in a fighting game. Nothing too amazing just a simple ‘fuk u asshole’ after he was timed out while running away from me when I had the lead.
To which I responded: “Now, good sir, there is no need for that kind of language. I understand your frustration over your lack of British Pounds, however I was not at fault. As you may not have noticed, I had the life lead and you, good sir, were the one running away.”.
Ogre doesn’t change into true Ogre, his third costume is the closest he gets to True Ogre
There is a flaming silhouette of True Ogre during the Super Art right when prepares to strike the opponent - I don’t think he literally transforms into True Ogre himself.
I played some A ranked ryu/jin player, and pretty much beat him with just dhalsim, and he said "WOW u still play like a b*tch!!! I dont remember playing him before, but i guess he would know…

Well, finally got a second piece of hate mail, this time accusing me of running away…
Looking back at the match the day after, I couldn’t understand the complaint. He was literally jumping at me doing roundhouse when I had the life lead… by a lot. So, I just walked away from that shit until eventually he got punished hard when my spacing was just right.
He wanted a rematch to “whup my ass”, and to be fair, he won said rematch by doing smarter zoning. Which I was fine with. Keep in mind, this was an endless room.
Also keeping in mind, he played Guile (with guest appearances by King). >.>

I’m not particularly a fan of ranked matches myself - I stick around on Endless.
I honestly don’t know why I like grinding out BP that much myself, must be because I’m still the fps mindset where I’m compelled to move up in the ranks.
Same, though that “must rank up” bug will hit every once in a while. Once I hit 3000BP though, I pretty stopped playing ranked for now due to a few things, namely… auto-gems… ugh…
But yah, Endless is generally the better place for me to sit down and learn. Something I really, really need to do (got my ass handed to me today in an endless lobby, think I went like 1-12).
it was the first week and I beat some guys with “raised on tekken” on their comment and mine read “not bad but not too good” My title at the time was “doing my part.” They were using Kazuya/Law and I was running Chun/Ryu… Long story short baited in law got mule kick into shoryu ftw then I heard both of them scream yells of pain followed by “what the f was that?” “you are doing your part, showing off ryu and ish… never seen that kick” salt "stop lying you are good mfer…random curse words… not verbatim but you get the jist

this game annoys me too sometimes but when it’s fun, its really fun
Not really a message, but when I tried the game on the PS3, I got a perfect against some guy and heard him shout “FUCK” over the mic, followed by what sounded like a controller being hit against the ground.
I felt bad ;_;
