Granted I’m a poor player, but I have never received one bit of hate mail, ever…Should I start fishing for it?
Pick scrubby top tiers, you’ll get them in no time. Choose lower tiers however and you will get praise. Its how it works in this game.
Unless the low tier character relies on any kind of keepaway. Hell, having a projectile is enough for a few hate messages post game.
Well…if they’re using Tekken characters I guess they have a valid complaint

Raven is hardly low tier. 
But he certainly earns me a lot of hate mail.
Dunno where Jin is, but one of my other mains is Juri, who’s pretty good. Not one single bit of hatemail.
If you really want hatemail, play a game, only do divekick and fireballs. Don’t even do a proper combo off of divekick, just do 2nd-3rd.
Kazuyas infinite is a good way to get hatemail or ragequits. Haven’t gotten any real funny yet, just the usual random swearing.
qft. I’ve never lost a MATCH due to the infinite yet (cuz once they show me they can do it, I keep Hugo the hell out), but I definitely send a couple choice words afterwards

Supposedly Raven is S tier, although the game has been out less than a month so I don’t exactly trust any tier lists yet. If you can do the 4 times c.hp link twice or more in a single game though, you will encounter a salt deposit the likes of which have never been seen before
If you want rage mail, pick Ogre and spam his taunt.

Surprising, but understandable since Neither of those characters are braindead to the extent of holding down back with Guile or using Ryu. Its not always the characters but how you play them. Noobs/Scrubs will get salty if you turtle because “Its a fighting game, so fight!” or if there is a general consensus on a top tier character they will use that as an excuse. As top tier as Raven is too he isn’t as braindead as Ryu. I really hate Ryu in this game too…I prefer him to be braindead but mid-tier at best.
But I bet if you play Raven and jumpback shuriken all day you’ll get tons of hatemail. Actually I’m thinking Raven/Siim fireball back teleport would be the worst haha.
Guile = Braindead? Riiiiiiight… If a Guile wins in SFxT strictly by downbacking, the opponent was a scrub.

lol, I get a ton of Hate messages saying “M.Bison is OP/CHEAP, your a pussy for using him, you’re a faggot” etc etc, and I respond to all the hate mail in kindness, and you know what it left most of these guys speechless and ended the bitch fits, and then these cats wanted to add me as there friend etc etc.
I found that extremely hilarious.
I play Ryu and Kazuya and somebody sent me something along of the lines of “Scrub team, learn to play characters that take skill. How does it taste having my boot in your mouth?”
I lol’d and the trolling engaged. (This happened awhile back so everything isn’t word for word but pretty damn close)
Me: “How does it feel not knowing the taste of a woman’s lips"
Him: “I have always taste had a woman’s lips, smartass” (he made a typo I’m assuming)
Me: " ‘always taste had a woman’s lips’ I’d rather be a smartass than a dumbass” (I quoted his typo)
Him: "That makes no sense"
Me: “Strong kidnergarden come-back”
He logged off and never messaged me again.
It really saddens me that people like that actually exist…“This guy beat me, I’ll send him a message and show him who is the boss and tell him how much of a virgin he is compared to me and that I am better at life…all because I lost one game to a team that is popular.”
Idiots. I tend not to message back, they aren’t worth my time. Sometimes I do though, if it is something worth biting, but it’s rare…and I have to be drunk.
