What changes would you make to Guile in a re-balanced AE?

The range of airthrow should also go back to the way it was too. Pls add it in if you can.

I’m just trying to be realistic; better to have a few buffs we want rather than unnecessary ones or none at all. Something like:

  1. Auto-correct FK after crossup
  2. Make U2 come out almost as fast/as fast as Super, buff dmg to between AE and Super
  3. Buff SB meter gain to between AE and Super

Meter gain 15 on boom

Remove counter hit nerf since boom is everything to Guile

I don’t know exactly how much meter gain Ryu gets when he chucks his hadokens but I think Guile should have the same meter gain, or atleast something close to that.

Also, give air throw the same start up as it was in super(was it 3 frames?). It would be nice to see some more amazing Guile air throws(like when Daigo grabbed the EX Chicken wing…classic).

Air throw still does what it is supposed to do, you just have to plan a few frames ahead.
But the counter hit on SB really needs to go, and nerfing the meter on it 50% was just plain stupid. If you give it 5 frame buff, give it a 20% meter nerf not fucking 50.

Give me back the comboable sunglasses from the Super beta or whatever and I’m good.

5 frame buff on boom? There was buffs on booms in AE? Did I miss something?

They need to make guile one of the following: evil, old, fat, a chick with DD breasts, only then will guile have a serious game.

Give Guile’s cr.lp +3f on block and +5f on hit.

I’ll tell you what Guile really needs. A normal that hits twice up close. Give me a valid way to punish random focus attacks, and promote offense, when I don’t have a charge.

Maybe just give this functionality to the nearly useless cr.hk? Give it a speed tweak so that it operates similar to Akuma’s double standing roundhouse and it should do the job… breaks armor and results in an untech knockdown. (Akuma’s standing roundhouse can’t be FA punished between kicks, right? Can’t seem to remember…).

i will be shocked if any of these characters escape the nerfbat. (except maybe akuma might escape unscathed, people aren’t whining to hard about him right now)

Edit: Actually making his overhead hit twice wouldn’t be such a bad idea.

I’d be okay with this. If I was a greedy man, I’d say to make the non-target combo version +4 on hit to allow for sexy overhead links.

AE 2012 testing here, any body know people that will be there, or have some solid translation abilities so we get some solid Guile-change specifics?
