DreamTR there was a tourney in Sc (down south clash) that had people from NC, AL, GA and TN. 32 people came for 3s. I think 3s tourney would have a good turnout!

Well, it’s official, I’ll be moving out to Tennessee the first week of May 2007.
My girlfriend is heading out the first week of February, and the house hunting will begin.
300lb Eugene: Snookers has CVS2? Did they have that last time I was in town? As long as some people are around to play 3s/CVS2, I am down with that over at Snooker’s temporarily until I get my cabinets set up at home.
The retail store might take around a year unless I have an influx of cash coming in. Best thing I can do is throw weekly tournaments, and have winners at the end of each month overall get things such as an XBOX 360 or PS3.

Taz: I played a lot of the Atlanta players back in the days for ST, but have not played with them since. I recall Atlanta being THE place for Tekken comp in the USA, and back in the day, there were high up on MK as well, but I am not sure about the rest. Since the days of xcopying videos, anyone with a joystick that plays at home can become pretty effective these days it seems =P
Which brings me to this…I’m going to support and have as many tournaments as possible, arcade/console, but I seriously can NOT play well on console. I’ve tried and tried, but having to tightly hold a stick to avoid it from moving, even if it is on a stand is just too much when you are used to knee jerk reactions and footsies on cabinets that NEVER budge in the arcade. I have ONE solution to that (CIgarBob arcade cabinet) that I can utilize, but I can’t do the console much otherwise =P SO I guess it’s Snookers for me when I am in town…

Wilson can I come annoy you at your house to play on a cabinet lol. See i know i started playing in 2005 but I grew my game up on a guy named liquited’s cabinet for 3s. he also had a Godly, GODLY sit down neo. OH man that was so fun.

3s alone runs $400-500 (american board) without a cabinet…I’ll be bringing 3 Street Fighter type cabinets for sure for play, though. Hope you like American cabinets, I’m stuck with what everyone I know grew up playing on.

Since Middle Tennessee State is in Murfreesboro, aren’t there any arcade machines on campus? Any type of player group out there at all???

I found a UMK3 cab in town…doesn’t work right now but i’m going to see if they can fix it for me…how do I find out what version it is?? what version do i want, what is the one used in tournies??
