Wesker Combo Thread

lol nissan, 4 months later and your still singing the same song eh? I respect that, and quite frankly I do agree with you. On that note, I just joined the wesker army recently and was wondering what my basic bnb should be? I currently do :l::m::h::s: sj :m::h::s: :df: :h: :a1: :s: :m::h::s: :df: :h: and then depending on the situation, the persons health and a bunch of other factors I either go into a mix-up, launch into maximum wesker or thc. It seems to do decent damage but I wanna make sure Im not missing out on anything y’all figured out a while back or something. Btw my team is wesker(duh)/storm(whirlwind)/ammy(cold star)

And while we are on the subject, I-for some reason-can’t get the teleports to come out consistently after a gunshot, be it an otg, standing or airborne shot the teleport after just isn’t consistent. Any tips on what I am doing wrong?

The main bnb is

If you’re not getting a teleport after a gunshot you may be hitting the button too early.

Thanks ill have to hit the lab and practice that one, and yea after more practice it seems I was hitting the button too early. Found this very nice mix-up with ammy for anyone who wants to listen, after my bnb(or prolly any bnb) you hit the otg shot while calling ammy, you can either use it to extend your combo, or you can cancel it into a teleport. The cool thing is ammy assist seems to push em forward to wesker appears in front instead of behind like he always does in the corner. Still trying to find a way to land behind to actually make it a mix-up but figured id post it here maybe someone else can find a use for it.

599k, builds about 1 and 4/5th’s meter. Able to do anywhere. After the :qcf:+:m:, you can do a Maximum Wesker to get the combo’s damage to about 711k.

Basically the same deal as the above combo, except off the command grab. 460k+ off it, and I’m guessing around the same meter build, or a little less. (didn’t bother to check)

Basic Magneto/Wesker DHC glitch. Does 1.07m. Wesker followup nearly makes up for the meter spent to activate the glitch. You can do the [addf j.:h:, s.:h: :qcb:+:l:] Hyper-Grav loop as well, but my execution on that is bad, so I just do the easier version.

I’m working on a new team of Mag/Dante/Wesker (not necessarily in that order) and with the huge variety of combos reading thru this topic, I’m having trouble figuring out which Wesker combos are the most practical to use in a match.

I’m looking for at least 1 meter builder, and 1 lvl 3 hyper. Aside from that, any suggestions on which practical ones I should learn would be appreciated. Mainly looking for solo-combos.

Cr. M, Cr. H, S, air MMHS, OTG gunshot + assist call, S, air MMHS, OTG gunshot + assist call, Level 3 should do that.

Yea Weskers combos aren’t fancy at all, they are about as herp derp and brainless as it gets.

just started putting effort into wesker and currently my basic is about 430k with one assist, very basic stuff of course, but im after throwing in a level one super and i am up to 516k :)!

but i have problems with his gun shot sometimes,the diagonal one, some times i do his kick cr heavey :frowning:
also i need to learn how to do teleport combos :rofl:.

trying to find out what the best assists are for wesker , any tips ?

A lockdown assist is the way to go IMO.

I think Wesker and Iron Man are as friends as Wolverine Akuma.

by lockdown assist do you mean iron mans beam or dooms beam ?
if so yh i found them to be fun !

Yup, an assist that will keep your opponent locked either on hit or block sou you can mixup/extend your combos.

Unibeam is the best IMO, but Doom is a much better character than Iron Man, so it’s worth the slightly worse assist.

Akuma’s tatsu is also great for Wesker.

Okay so I want to pick up Wesker there are lots of combos in here but what are his official BNB’s that I should learn?

My Wesker bnb is simple: c:m:,s:h:,:s:, sj, j:m:,j:h:,j:s:,call assist1,:df::h:,:s:,sj,j:m:,j:h:,j:s:,call assist2,:df::h:. Then I either go for a reset, mixup, thc, or level 3.
Another bnb I use is:c:m:,s:h:,:qcf::l:,dash forward,:df::h:,c:m:,s:h:(2 hits),s:s:, sj, j:m:,j:h:,j:s:,call assist1,:df::h: and finish with a team hyper combo, level 3, reset, or mixup. This is probabbly the better bnb because you would need an assist to get in safely and it allows for full damage combos. (It doesnt work against ironman or chris.) Hey. How much damage do you guys get off of your command grabs? The basic combo on my Wesker, Akuma, Phoenix team does 443, 200.

Does anyone else use Magneto’s hyper gravitation assist with wesker? I put it at the end of my BnB combo. My team is Wesker/Magneto/Akuma. Here is my basic BnB combo

c.:l:, c.:m:, c.:h:, c. :s:, :uf:, :m:, :m:, :h:, :s:, :df::h: + :a2:, :s:, :uf:, :m:, :m:, :h:, :s:, :a1:, :df::h:, :qcf::atk::atk:

I switch up reset at the ending but I usually put in a :l: instead of the :qcf::atk::atk: and then press :uf:, :f::h: and it should air throw them if the reset works.

EM disruptor is better. It can also be substituted for Samurai Edge pickups mid combo, but what makes it better is setups. Gunshot + disruptor, into L (further away) or H (mid screen) teleport gives you safe mixups leading into combos. Or c.l, m, h+disruptor, cancelled into manually inputted L or H teleport. (while close up)
So basically everywhere on the ground, these two have mixups for days. If they are in the air, just air throw them.

Don’t even see any reason why you would need hyper grav assist with Wesker. Doesn’t help him in any aspect that disruptor does better.
