Going back through DMC1 right now and I hate the setup.
It was DMC standard DMC setup.
Has it ever been different?
The only new thing was the L1 or L2 button being used to rev his sword. I think his demon hand was just circle or something.

Jump is Triangle, examine is X and sword is O
In DMC3
Jump is X, examine is O and sword is Triangle.

I just use all my red ords on green stars and smash on the sword button anyhow. :sad:
X/A: Jump
Square/X: Firearm
Triangle/Y: Melee
O/B: Devil Bringer
L1/Left Bumber: No use (though it’ll be for DT)
L2/Left Trigger: Exceed
R1/Right Bumper: Lock-on
R2/Right Trigger: No use (don’t know the use for Nero)
You can’t change it in the demo. But the final build will allow customization.

Now I have to decide whether I buy it for my girlfriend on her 360 or wait just a bit and get a ps3 and the game along with it.
Demo setup:
Sword - Triangle
Gun - Square (no need to lock on to fire)
Jump - X
Grab - O
Lock-on - R1
Rev the sword - L2
Toggle camera - Right analog stick
Those are the basic controls.
If you get a PS3, we can be best PS3 friends!
If you get an X Box, we will never be best PS3 friends.
Weigh that in your mind while you are pondering this amazingly complicated decision.
