We Shall Never Surrender - The Devil May Cry 4 Thread - Come on, babes. Let's rock!

James Van Der Beek would play a horrible Dante. :frowning:

I like the gameplay, but can’t agree with you on the graphics. They are good, but aren’t great. Lost Planet looks better than this and is still one of the better looking games on the market.

Here’s a vid of Brea (One of the best DMC3 players) going through the demo. It’s only been out for a 2 days, but it looks like he already mastered the Just Exceed technique. It’s amazing!

?

That’s Sean Bean, wtf you smoking.

at around 0:56, how does he dash instantly?

oh  Carry on then.

he used Streak, which causes him to thrust forward

LP looks good, but I don’t know if it looks better than DMC4. Graphically, they look very similar. But I don’t know which looks superior, especially since we haven’t yet seen all of DMC4’s levels, etc.

With that said, DMC4 still looks damned good.

Played the demo it was pretty good but not sure if it would warrant a purchase.

I already pre-order the limited edition. Can’t wait 11 more days to go.

I would have swore I posted this earlier…ah well. Brea has the best DMC3 combo videos, and his DMC4 skill have not diminished.

Sick vid! Thanks for this, it gave me a visual representation of what DMC4 is all about

Nice vid. I also just played the demo. Really fun. =]

Damn, that Brea guy is SICK!

And he is one of the people that just seems like that he is playing a whole different game than I am…and I thought I was ā€œdecentā€

but even that demo video alone shows the beauty of DMC. Now repeat those same damn combos on harder difficulty—and those players can do it, and thats when amazing happens. People need to understand that

It’s cool that he and I do pretty much the same combos.

It’s not so cool that he doesn’t get hit. Ever.

lol, that’s how I feel about watching him vs Berial for about the first 70% of the battle

what also impresses me about that video is that he was using the default controls! I haven’t really messed with the controls in DMC3, but I do find the default ones to be somewhat difficult in pulling off combos and jump cancels as fast as those videos are showing

I gave in and watched the intro. I’m glad I did – it got me even more hyped 'cause now I’m curious about the story. The intro definitely gets interesting.

Seems fine to me.

Sorry if it’s already been mentioned, but how did that Brea dude always keep one stock of the L2 charge? Other than that I followed everything in that video…
