Yeah it just ends.
^I spammed a bunch of DB throws so I could finally beat the timed mode.
6 seconds to spare too
I’m glad Capcom didn’t make the first real boss bitch hard like DMC1/3(I’m aware its on easy, but still).
I hope they up the difficulty. The demo felt TOO easy.
:u: You can also run past the enemies after you lower the drawbridge. Saves you a lot of time since it’s a straight run to the Frosts.
Yes. Frosts were some of the toughest enemies in DMC1.
I’m assuming the demo was running on the Human (easy) difficulty.
yeah, most likley it was.
man, just watched those HD videos…oh my god…this is the best game ever created haha :nunchuck:
They had nothing on the nobodies and those electric bat things. Hell, with ifrit the frosts were pretty much push overs.
however, they defiantly don’t move like they used to. Aside from the teleport their like a totally different enemy.
but the enemies were just pathetic. So I’m certain that the demo was on easy.
I haven’t played a dmc game since the first, but this demo has definately rekindled interest.
What’s this about a cheat code that lets you play as dante on the demo?
Since the marionettes and snow lizards are back, does anybody know if the shadowcats, sin scissors, and sin scythes are also coming back? It’s been so long since I’ve played the first dmc, but wasn’t a group of three shadowcats the toughest set of basic enemies they could throw at you? I barely remember how the electric bats and nobodys attack since they appeared so late in the game, but I do recall the fights in that final dimension to be some of the harder ones.
After beating DMD mode for DMC1, all the enemies are pushovers once you learn what move owns them. Frosts were just a lot more aggressive and powerful. Nobodies were easily owned by the Stinger if you didn’t let them grow full size. I’d say the electric bats were probably the hardest for me to fight because I never really took any time to know what kills them. The game also only requires you to fight the very first one anyway, so you could just run away the rest of the game.
Those Fallen angels in DMC3 always fuck me over(yes homo). A sword pierce destroys their shield, but after that I’m clueless.
A&R air raid (forget the exact name) power shots from e&i, trickster teleport.
What I did.
Yeah that’s the gameplan. Cuz they are in the air you need something that keeps you in the air. Beowulf/Rebellion aren’t really good for that hence why A&R excels against them. It’s aerial attack is like Vergil’s yamato air slash(Fight Beowulf/Cereberus w/Vegril and you’ll see what I mean). Combined with trickster you can get to the air easy and still retain Air dash in case of attack. When they are too far way, pressure with E&I, dash in to cover ground.
I want this game so bad.
I personally used Beowulf and Royal Guard when I had to play against those angel monsters in DMC3. Parry their attacks and then own them hard with Beowulf. Worked like a charm.
Hmm apparently i have DMC 1 and 3 * non SE * on my ps2 Hard drive.
Time to give dmc a whirl i suppose.
Just gave the demo a whirl. I wasn’t blown away, but I was pretty entertained for a solid 10 minutes. I forgot how cool the combat system is. I was hoping for more in the graphics department, admittedly. The demo definitely did feel a bit too easy. I know for a fact I haven’t evolved that much as a gamer since playing the original game.
Well, I’m sure the Demo’s difficulty wasn’t even set to Normal (as far as DMC titles go), so don’t fret there. Visually, this is one of the best titles I’ve seen so far, that’s “next gen”. People nowadays see nothing but Bloom and Shiney shit (BS for short). That ain’t next gen, IMO.
This might be the game that makes me setup my PS3…
There you go.
