Bring back Alastor!
It was too badass how you got that weapon

:u: Yeah, I want to see Alastor and Ifrit again, since Dante should have them around. I don’t know why he would carry around that dumb Rebellion sword, since it’s weaker than even Force Edge.
Hell, canonically, it only made sense for him to have it in DMC3, since it was a sequel to DMC, and he didn’t have any of the other swords yet. But by the time DMC rolls around, he already ditched Rebellion for Force Edge (which I guess he also had to ditch, since it became Sparda).
I guess we can thank DMC2 for that stupid-ass sword.
I guess its because most people are familiar with it from DMC3.
It was my favorite weapon anyway >_>
I wonder what he does with all the other weapons he ends up acquiring, since he never takes them with him.
…eBay!
He’s gotta pay for all that pizza somehow.
I see most of them up on his wall at his shop. Both 1 and 3 have weapons sprawled about at Devil Never/May Cry, when people come to visit.
It does NOTHING special. At all.
I’m guessing they want to just have one general DT for all weapons instead of having a different DT for each weapon like DMC1 had. So no DT altering weapons allowed.
That’s fair, I guess. But that doesn’t explain why he doesn’t carry around the DMC3 weapons.
And they should totally bring back his lightning uzis in DT mode from DMC2. Might as well.
Oh hec yes! DEMOOOOOO ~~ I believe
Can we expect a demo on the JPN store tommorow morning?
HELLLLLLLLL YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. :nunchuck:
I always said, he’s strong enough to upgrade Eb and Ivory to twin Magnums…would pack a lot more oomph. But twin SMG’s…yeah if done right that’d be hot /Paris.
He does have those in DMC2. When you DT, just hold down the button to kill anything. Man, that game was so mediocre (terrible for a DMC).
You could literally beat bosses as tall as skyscrapers just stand in the back shooting with your SMGs…;_; what a waste of 50 bucks that was. God my money back the very next day after it came out.
I only remember 4 things about DMC 2.
Forgot all about his SMG’s.
Yeah the trailers made that shit look so throwed; nigga running flipping off the walls like a John Woo movie and fighting these huge ass monsters…and then I actually bought the game…WTF @ them Diesel outfits you unlock too >_<

That subtle extra detail actually makes a WORLD of difference when it comes to whether or not Stinger looks like it hurts (and people wonder why I hate Wii when I’m even nitpicky about shit like this. This is arguably my biggest gripe with DMC2).
EDIT: Actually, they did retain a number of things from DMC2, including the Rebellion, Dante’s ability to run up walls, and the way he fires his guns downward after an Air Hike (with Gunslinger style). I don’t remember if they kept dual-directional firing for DMC3 (probably not), but it was a pretty cool concept (with sloppy execution).
Firing I&E in different directions was done differently in DMC2. He’d automatically fire at another enemy once they get close enough.
Ha Ha.
My Xbox 360 got the Red Ring’s of death Friday night.
Go fucking figure
Time to buy a PS3.
