Just sayin’, since the word has been bothering me for some time now. Otherwise, I completely agree with everything else you said.
I was was like until I went back and saw what Sep was talking about. It is suppose to be predecessor, like how DMC1 is the predecessor to DMC2, but DMC3 is the prequel to DMC1/2.
Yeah >_>
ZOMG Pandora’s Box/Lucifer videos!
http://www.capcom-fc.com/devil4monograph/2008/01/post_4.html#more
Both look awesome, but I think Lucifer will be right up there with Rebellion is my inventory.
Lucifer looks a lot cooler than I initially would have thought.
The info I got about Lucifer was right.Didn’t hear about any ability to stick them on to enemies, but at heart they are basically stationary phantom swords
Lucifer looks REALLY useful, I wonder how much damage it does?
Yeah,I’m wondering the same thing.
Not sure if this was posted but, niiiiiiice.
Man, if it does enough damage, I can defintely deal with that.
I was never good with the Beowulf. It was pretty much just Rebellion and Cerebrus/A&R. So I don’t know if I can work with that Giglamesh, unless its real fast.
I loved Beowulf and Ifrit.
Pandora’s Box however doesn’t look very combo friendly though
Supposedly, the demo is gonna pop up on the JPN XBL and PSN this Thursday.
In DMC3 I usually used Rebellion and Cerberus, and sometimes replace Cerberus with Beowulf for certain bosses (especially on Vergil fights; it’s practically mandatory). I used to use A&R a lot because I thought it was cool to dual wield swords, but I soon realized Rebellion was much safer to use during combos and such because it was slightly faster and had about the same amount of damage.
Word, especially that fly’n rocket vehicle thing… But i never really focused on powering up Dantes guns anyways just gimme 2 pistols and an assortment of close combat weapons to rip $hit up with…
Witch of the mele weapons did you gusy prefer?? Beowulf, Iffit, or Virgils Beowulf?
I like Iffit, Virgils Beowulf then Dante’s Beowulf… Ifrit just felt so forceful when you used it like you were break’n people apart.
I always felt out of all the weapons the “electric bat” guitar/scythe, i wasn’t really feelin as much. I’ve seen combo videos of people doin some nice combos but it really felt more like a novelty weapon.
I’ll believes it when I sees it. Unless Capcom said so. If a demo doesn’t come out this week, I won’t even bother with playing it since we’re so close to the release date already.
That would be awesome if it wasn’t a 40 gig. D:
dam i was hoping for a nunchuku type of weapon in DMC4, seems like its not there ;(
It had its uses in Missions 4 and 5 (I think those were the two) when you had to fight a bunch of Enigmas at once in the same room. Well, it had its uses on DMD mode, otherwise those Enigmas would rape you alive. Putting a bunch of bat notes around you broke their spears they shot at you, making dealing with them in that room a million times easier… as well as get you a shit ton of style points.
I ended up using Beowulf nearly exclusively, with a little bit of Rebellion and A&R mixed in there, so I can’t wait to try out Gilgamesh. Them bringing back Ifrit’s Inferno is yet another reason this weapon will be too good.
That Ceramic White PS3 is hot fiyah.
That needs to come out in America. I’d get dat jaunt right dere.
Yeah, I hardly used Nevan either. It was always Rebellion + Cerberus/A&R, though I used A&R more heavily towards the end of the game.
Though Vergil being able to use all 3 of his weapons = godlike.
