Feels like they are showing too much with all the trailers. People will still buy it. But does anyone remember the last trailer before MGS3’s release?
You can find it on torrent as well. I have it.
Is it just me, or does the Shall Never Surrender song sound better in the trailer? It doesn’t feel complete without Nero screaming over it.
But yeah, listen to the lyrics of that song, and look at the final trailer, and I think they’re pretty much given away the whole story.

[details=Spoiler]It looks like the Holy Order or whatever they’re called are a cult. They’re trying to open the portal to the demon world so that demons will run through and destroy this world, which they believe will “cleanse” it and make way for a new world (which, of course, they’ll run).
Kyrie is probably the maiden sacrifice they need. Credo may be in on the plan up until the maiden sacrifice part - he probably doesn’t realize they’re plotting to use Kyrie. At which point he tries to turn against the Order, and is probably disabled/killed by Agnus.
Dante somehow finds out about what they’re doing, which is why he crashes their party and kills a lot of people. Nero has no idea until things slowly unfurl in front of his eyes.
Also, I’m going to put money on Nero being Vergil’s son.[/details]

I kinda agree on with the trailer making the song sound really good. Nero’s screams really did make it sound good, but the song by itself sounds a little better without the dialogue.

Going from A to B, only to have to head back to A. Revisting past areas. I don’t really have a problem with this. The past games had backtracking but they weren’t too bad.
At first, I was kinda expecting Nero to be Dante/Virgil’s long lost brother, but…
Sparda died either before Dante and Vergil were born, or shortly after, since Dante’s mother had to tell them stories of their father when he was young, as said in DMC1.
Then, also when he was young, his mother was killed. As stated by the “You lost a mother and a brother to evil 20 years ago” in DMC1.
For Nero and Dante to be half brothers, Nero would either have to have Sparda as a father, and not Eva as a mother, or the opposite. Sparda was with Eva when he died, so I doubt he actually cheated on her to get some action. Besides, it’s been stated that Nero is fully human, besides his arm. He’d be half-devil if Sparda was his dad. Eva died while she was with her young kids. She wouldn’t have time to go out and have another kid. If she had a kid before meeting Sparda, Nero would be older than Dante and Vergil, which he isn’t.

“backtracking” just means traveling back to previously visited areas
about the motion control camera, theres an option to toggle it on/off:
"Motion Sensor
With the Motion Sensor ON, turn the controller left and right to move the camera.
To quickly set the camera behind your character, shake the controller vigorously. "
My bet is the arm is what’s left of Virgil, and will eventually possess Nero.
