I felt the final DMC3 trailer gave away a lot of info, but there was still loads of stuff that was hidden.

What does obtaining achievement points do for you on these games? Do they net you anything extra or is it just a status?
this game is coming out for 360? Shows how much I’ve been keeping up.

Yeah, the 360 version was announced about 6 or more months ago. I’m sure SONY’s not too happy about that either, but fuck 'em. They should have been smarter and launched the PS3 at a more reasonable price point.
Yeah well…at least MGS4 isn’t going to 360 (I don’t mean to change directions of the thread, but I hate the 360, but thats just my opinion. Lol) But yeah, Sony needs to figure something out because they’re obviously losing this ‘console war’ with the price of their console and sub-par game selection. But the intro movie to DMC4 looks pretty sweet, I’m lookin’ forward to it, don’t wanna read about it too much since I’ll end up bitching endlessly if it gets delayed lol.
Most of the time they’re just for status.
I have both a 360 and a PS3. I’ve been playing DMC since part 1, I couldn’t imagine playing a DMC game on anything other than a Playstation type controller. In fact, when a game comes out for both systems I always go PS3 unless I read about some major problems that the PS3 has and that the 360 doesn’t. Not sure about every single game, but so far I’ve gone PS3 over 360 for every game I’ve bought. My 360 is a dust collecting Gears of War machine right now. I’m giving it another 6 months or so to produce a game worth keeping it for, if not, off to ebay it goes.
I’m the same way. The only game I’ve passed up on the PS3 version was Assassin’s Creed since I heard it’s riddled with freezing.
The next great 360 exclusives are Endwar and Ninja Gaiden 2 and those are at least 4 months away.
Speaking of achievement points, they did have some contest where you earned prizes depending on your gamerscore about a year ago. However, it seems they don’t have any plans of bringing it back anymore.

So wait. You have both systems, yet you buy the inferior versions and complain you don’t see anything worth getting on the Xbox360?? Not knocking you or anything, but I don’t see it? Its been proven that the multi-platform games are usually better on the 360. Heck all this talk about the Ps3 vs Xbox 360 DMC4, and even capcom is stating that the versions graphically are equal.

You get prizes from Microsoft at times, things you can’t get from stores and the such.
No, I’m saying I will get the better version if I can, like when I played Assassin’s Creed on the 360 instead of the PS3. If both versions are equal I tend to go for the PS3, like I will for the DMC4.
Sadly, some developers have been slacking on the PS3 versions. :sad: R6:Vegas and The Orange Box are proof of that.
I wasn’t complaining about the 360 not having enough worthy games. I was simply stating that it will be a while until the next great 360 exclusive. If anything, the 360 has done well in 2007 with exclusives like Halo 3, Mass Effect, and Viva Pinata. That’s right, Viva Pinata! 
I was trying to let Infested Jester know about how soon he can expect the next exclusives. This generation of consoles involves lots of waiting so one can’t expect to get all these great games soon. Too Human is another great looking 360 game but that one won’t be out until summer.

I agree but im not complaining @ all i must say… I baught a 360 for GOW, and i still play that shit, theres nothing that ps3 has to offer me but if DMC4 was a PS3 exclusive, you better belive id have one right now waiting impatiently for DMC4 release… I would like to try MGS$ and god of war 3 but i’m not paying 500-600$ for that $hit… WHOO only 60 days guys:party: …yup… just…1,440 hours…:sad::looney:

You could always pay $400 instead, you know (if no PS2 backwards compatibility makes no difference to you, that is); none of them cost $600 at this point.
