How does Pandora’s box work? How did that guy fly over those lasers so long?
Pandora’s Box works as follow: It’s first form starts how has the missile launcher. While holding down the fire button, spin around the left analog stick for it to transform into the Bazooka. Spin it around once again in the bazooka form to transform it into the Laser Cannon. These attacks can be used in any style. The Gunslinger style moves include the Vehicle form (Lock-on+style button), the glave (Lock-on+Back+Style button), and the box attack (Lock-on+Forward+Style button).
As for the vehicle transformation, you can stay in the air as long as you want. As long as you don’t fire any shots or get damaged.
If I don’t S rank Bloody Palace this week, I’m killing the next poster
Yea the combat made up for everything which is why I was able to enjoy playing all of the difficulties. But yea I felt the same way about that forest.:looney:
I’m pretty sure flying still depletes the Disaster gauge, just at a much slower rate. You can fly a good distance on only half meter.
I got S rank in the first 11 Missions on Human,Devil Hunter & Son of Sparda. 9 more missions to go on those difficulties.
DMC4… worth the buy? O_o
how’s the difficulty really? compared to maybe… megaman 1
I don’t really remember having anything in the disaster gauge when in vehicle form. I’ll have to check again.
I’d say definitely rent it, as you can beat it in 1 or 2 days. The other stuff is what’s time consuming and may not appeal to everyone.
rental unless you’re into getting the best ranking or playing harder difficulty modes. for me, wish i had rented =P
how the hell do you hurt dante on son of sparda mode
I just baited him by shooting him and doing snatch 3 and buster. With the Dante battles you just gotta move around alot and do lots of dodging to get close to him.
So I just perfected Credo. This game is awesome.
Heres a few ways to go about it:
- Keep firing while you move towards him. Once you’re close enough use buster.
- Snatch him while you’re in the air. He’ll dodge it a few times, but you should be able to grab him and use buster.
- Using DT helps, but only use it when you’re about to use Buster. Quickly deactivate it once you’ve damaged him. Dante becomes more aggressive when you use DT.
:u: Rev all the time. Dante has a lot of trouble dodging EX3 Streak (he might sidestep on roll, but then he’ll just eat the rest). Also take advantage of his taunts. You can snatch and buster him.
EDIT: Oh, and I accidentally picked Automatic Mode last night while playing Bloody Palace, and I just have to say that Automatic Nero is fucking BROKEN. The computer does combos and revs (including Max-ACT) for you, and it even charges your gun while it does all that. The game isn’t even fun with how stupid it is to play as him.
On the other hand, Automatic Dante totally sucks. He never really uses the moves you want, and he’s limited by whatever style you’re using. So now it makes sense how reviewers are saying Dante’s segment is harder. Bitches are playing on Automatic.
Yeah, Auto Nero is broken as fuck. And what sucks is that the leaderboards don’t tell who is manual or auto, so I might be in the top 20 on the American 360 leaderboards, but I could be higher if it wasn’t for auto-users getting auto-revs/auto-charge shots.
and yes, Auto Dante sucks.
This game has been sucking up all my VF5 time. xD;
I’m currently #1 in the U.S Bloody Palace rankings, and #20 in the world. :3
EDIT: And, for the record, I use normal mode all the time, not Auto.
Well for me, I never really cared about the online leader boards. No one really knows who you are nor do they honestly care. Unless they are like really trying to sit there for hours to be above some random person’s name. I pretty much quit the game now, but I’ll occasionally play bloody palace or go beat up some bosses here and there with super nero. Other than that the game is done once u beat dante must die mode.
Auto Nero can’t be that broken, I think to myself, as I read this thread at work. I come home and decide to give him a try. YES HE IS THAT BROKEN. SSS on any Bloody Palace level with enough enemies to kill. All I basically had to do was make sure I didn’t get hit. Wow.
I’m going to play him maybe a little bit more to study how to get consistent SSS, but other than that, yeah, no fun. Its just like your controller is one big WIN button and all you have to do is slap it repeatedly.
:u: Try Auto Dante, then. Your controller magically turns into a LOSE button.
And, from what I can tell, the secret to SSS is to rev everything all the time with MAX-Act, never get hit, and “randomly” DT to get bonus hits (my favorite, after watching Japanese players, is to do EX3 Streak, and then DT right toward the end of that to get a free launch).
