(Ill do Dan’s movelist next)

From SvC:

How the shit does Guile know about Megaman? I know he’s like a fucking bookworm in this game, but…that’s too much.

Yeah that is strange since Charile is supposed to be smarter than gulie.

In the game Chun-Li is nice to these four too.

Let’s take a look at the people Chun-Li’s friendly towards.

Guile - Married
Dhalsim - Married
Ken - Married
Ryu - NOT MARRIED!

Ryu and Chun-Li relationship fans rejoice! MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Joking, joking. This game is beyond unofficial so it doesn’t matter. Most likely Chun-Li is nice to these guys because they were all competitors in the SF2 Tourney opposing Shadowloo. I’m sure if Zangief, E.Honda, Blanka, Feilong, Deejay and T.Hawk were in the game Chun-Li would be nice to them too. Cammy, well, I can bet if she was in the game she’d be Shadowloo Cammy so probably wouldn’t be a friendly meeting. If by some miracle M1-6 Cammy were in the game, the conversation could go either way, being friendly or unfriendly. Course, retard Playmore Chun-Li would probably comment on Cammy’s legs and get into an argument…

Ken and Mike Bison have probably fought at some point both being Street Fighters and being from the same country in the SVC universe. I seriously doubt Ken Officially reached Mike Bison during SF2. My guess is Ryu beat Ken during SF2.

sorry to be really newbish…but where can I find this…Gavok’s dialogue faq…I don’t know much about the members here. Thanks.

Go to this Site.

http://www.gamefaqs.com

From here, type SNK vs. Capcom in the Search Space.

You will get plenty of matches like Capcom vs. SNK. Scroll down to SSNK vs. Capcom and click on the FAQ.

Gavok has 2 Faqs. One on the endings and one on the Dialogs.

Sorry, but whenever I try to create a direct link to a Gamefaqs Page it doesn’t work for some odd reason.

thanks muchly.

This thread is for mainly disscussing official/canon storylines or things that are related to official/canon, its not for posting Fantasy list.

You might want to post this in the fighting game forum, or over at SNK-Capcom.com (forums)

Was Playmore allowed to make up their own story for the Street Fighter characters in SvC? I ask this because there are some wierd things, like Ryu and Sagat being mad at each other, and all this talk of Asura, who Gouki has never mentioned in any other game that I know of.

Rule #1: No matter how much it stays true, never take anything not produced by Capcom as canon.

Yes, SNKP was allowed.

Depends on the timeframe for the Ryu v Sagat thing. If we’re talking the Alpha era, then yeah I can see Sagat being pissed at Ryu.

I’m not sure about Asura:

http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix/asurah.htm

http://www.namaste.it/kundalini/kundalini_eng/asura.html

http://flaez.ch/rv/rv?wort=asura

http://www.themystica.com/mystica/articles/a/asura.html

Definetly NOT what I was expecting.

er… sorry to ask something out of topic but…

Do you know if the joke moves in Darkstalker are supposed to be canon?(like Pharaos’ curse, Midnight bliss and Lilith’s Showtime?)

and about SvC:C… Kyo and Goenitz seem to imply that Violent Ken is Orochi… he also has the famous orochi skull in one of his specials, I think its his exceed. So… I think Violent Ken is Orochi, not Satsui. And I don’t remember seeing him using the Shun Goku Satsu(something that every satsui no hadou charachter had up to now), and Ryu doesn’t make any comment about it… so…

But Akuma does say that he is following Asura’s path… anyone knows what’s that?

Yes, those Darkstalker Moves have to be Canon IMHO. Everything about Darkstalkers moves are silly, (When they get hit their eyes pop out, etc. etc.) even though the storyline is actually very serious. It’s not like say, SF EX where out of nowhere a character lifts you into outer space or causes you to dance for no reason. (All beit SF EX is not in the regular SF Universe, I kind of doubt the characters could perform some of them Dumb Ass Supers like Skullo’s Super where you dine with him and I think that’s all Arika’s VERY LOUSEY sense of humor) Lots of the Darkstalker Animations are in fact very silly.

Street Fighter Connection - In the unofficial SF2V Anime, Asura was the name of an organization that was run by Shadowloo if memory serves.

Violent Ken - After going through his Dialogs, I don’t know what the Heck he is. Balrog (Ninja) comments on his power being Psycho Power. Kyo says it’s Orochi Power. Ken asks “What is this Homicidal intent?” as in murderous intent or “Satsui No Hadou.” (course, this is problably due to SNKP’s poor Engrish skills…) Doesn’t look like anyone in the game brainwashed him, but like he gave into this power. I’m guessing Psycho Power is a mistake since SNH is sister to Psycho Power, and Ken some how wound up giving in to Orochi Rage. Ken couldn’t normally give in to SNH, but it looks like in this game he’s of Orochi Lineage (His moves being the biggest indicator of this) and in this game the Orochi Rage kinda helped him give in to something like SNH.

Um, I’m not sure we should be over analyzing this. The game has Red Arremer, Zero, Demitri, Tabasa, Athena the Goddess, (yes, CVS has Morrigan but only due to fan outrage - Capcom doesn’t really want her in there hence the outdated Sprite) and unlike the previous crossovers that only lightly hinted at time travel for the Samurai Characters so you could choose to ignore that aspect if you wished, PLAYMORE IS SERIOUSLY SAYING GENJURO, SHIKI AND EARTHQUAKE TIME TRAVELED IF YOU LOOK AT THEIR ENDINGS! PLAYMORE IS OUT OF THEIR FREAKING MINDS!!!

that’s true… but at the same time, they at least gave explanations for everyone apparition in the game. And tried to fit, even if loosely, the game somewhere in the timeline of kof(between kof2001 and 2003)… so… it wasn’t a bad work at all.

… they even introduced a new aspect to a existing charachter!(Orochi blood(maybe) in Ken).

Between Kof 2001 and 2003? Hmm. Odd that the vast majority of the SNK cast is from KOF 96 and Kyo’s still wearing the High School uniform as opposed to the Nest Storyline one. No one from the Nest Storyline except for Bao’s strange Cameo is even in the game as a playable character. And, that date doesn’t work for SF at all with Chun-Li still being an Officer and Sagat still working for Shadowloo.

I honestly think these crossover games don’t really bother with Timelines at all. I mean, Goenitz who by all means should be dead is in this game and the only explanation for him being alive is Kyo saying something along the lines of, “You’re still alive?”

Well, the game does seem to some how some way shout out lots of great 2D Games from both sides with lots of representitives as a positive.

MY BAD! The name of the crime organization in SF2V was Ashura and not Asura. Though the name still may be indicative of the same thing, like calling your gang “Satan” or “Demon.”

look at: Terry’s ending, he receives a letter from Joe calling for the newest kof… that’s exactly what is said to happen before the intro of Garou team in kof2003.

And I said fit in the kof storyline… NOT street fighter. I mean, the street storyline is very strange in this game. Bison has already been killed, but most people don’t know about that. Then there’s the fact that Juni and Juli are still around… and everyone have their sf2 looks.

Kyo Vs Kyo. Kyo mentions that the other Kyo might be a clone. So, at least kof 99 had to have happened.

And Ryo is wearing his kof 2002/aof clothes.

look at Goenitz ending. Kyo’s not the only one surprised to see Goenitz alive.

KEN IS BEASTING ON CHRONIC SHIT.

**

Seriously? What else would you have them do, have SamSho characters living in the 21st century? Like moving AoF to the '90s, only on a grander scale? I mean, shit…Capcom did the same thing with Yun in GBA Alpha 3.

Besides, no one is gonna give a shit about the SvC story. Which is a shame because Dan and Akuma owning God should be incorporated.

Edit: BTW, Balrog spits the best game at girls. My guess is that he has a soft side for young-looking Japanese chicks…he has yellow fever.

But, Yun is obviosly not in SFZ3 just like SFZ Guy and SFZ Cody are not in Final Fight One. Cosider their appearances Easter Eggs.

In all previous Capcom SNK crossovers including SVC for the NGP, SamSho characters and Last Blade Characters seemed to be lost if anything and if you wished you could just ignore the Time Travel Aspect all together. When a Capcom USA Employee with close ties to Capcom of Japan was interviewed regarding the CVS series (you can tell the interview was not made up even though the person’s name was withheld because the interviewy gave away lots of spoilers for CVS2 that all came true early on) he spoke of how in CVS1 Nakaruru could possibly be living in our world thanks to her being a God and all, and Haohmaru generally not being on the same level as humans with his strong Samurai Spirit makes it possible for him to still exist. Course, those are assumptions and not official, but with no mention of time travel (Even Gal Fighters for the NGP did not mention time travel in Shiki or Nakaruru’s endings) you could just imagine that they just existed during our time, or have been reincarnated if you wished (The Tuxedo suited Jubei joke in a CVS1 background) if Time Travel wasn’t your cup of tea. It’s a Vs. Game anyway and not official so there’s nothing saying the characters can not be alive in the unnoficial Vs. world.

It’s not so much the Time Travel aspect of SVC that’s bugging me, it’s just the way that it’s done. There’s apparently no storyline reason for Genjuro, Shiki and Earthquake to even be here (At least in previous crossovers, there was a Tournament of sorts which this game lacks as it’s mostly Random people bumping into each other which realistically, most of these characters would never fight each other if their was no Tourney) and on top of that, in their endings we see the same Black and White Time Travel Spiral used in Austen Powers Movies! Ugh…
