Rufus similarities

@Mr aerialgroove

Hello dude here are more Rufus alike

Rufus similarities by Yurinka from capcom-town

http://capcom-town.es/2008/04/17/el-origen-de-rufus-personaje-de-street-fighter-iv/

They could have atleast linked to the Muscle bomber rip-offs I did for ArielGrooves site where they’ve taken the Vader conparisom images from…

I wish Wong Who could’ve been in the game instead of rufus, I’ve always thought he was a cool design. But any fatsos are cool in my book

I like Rufus since he looks so much like Mr. Heart and I’m a huge Hokuto No Ken / Fist of the North Star fan. Besides, I think it’s funny how his body jiggles while you play. That’s just gonna make for some funny combo vids down the line.

Hey did you guys read crayfishes thread about him collecting all the threads prior to the 03 crash?

Those ending scripts were provided by Vasili10. His the one who deserves the credit.

Thanks for correcting the link. Those Fei Long and Dee Jay pics are nice, that Cammy one is pretty overused… Although, that card set says SSF2X… Could it be that this set was made without Gouki?

Sano
Thanks for the scans. They were great. That Nash picture on the bottom left was the one I was talking about…
And yeah, Vega losing his pants during the Psycho Crusher was hilarious.
ha ha ha

Happy Birthday man! All the best things for you. Thanks for all you’ve done for the SF community!

Ok I’m back. First up, thanks to everyone for the B-Day wishes. It is today, April 20. :china: Second, 4.5’s done. I tried submitting, it’s giving me fatal errors, I sent a contributor problem report since I can’t seem to email Gamefaqs, so hopefully this’ll be resolved soon. If anyone has any advice please speak. In the meantime, on to the questions.

The characters would not fight each other, and Vega deals with them personally, those who see him before Gouki sees him anyway.

Hopefully.

They don’t bow out, except for possibly Dhalsim. The rest just don’t make it to the final stage before Gouki leaves his mark. Only Hawk, Cammy, and Guile do. According to my theory, Boxer and Claw are included with the rest. Dictator could say to them something like, “you know what? Here’s your chance to overthrow me if you can, see if I’m still as bad as ever, despite the losses from three years ago.” Or even if not that, he can give Boxer heads to bash and he’d be happy, and Claw uglies and he’d be obliged as well.

When Vega was stated to be recovering, it wasn’t specified to be from an SGS.

My theory assumes everyone’s good enough to get to the end as long as no one fights anyone else from the selectables until the end, and everyone does make it to the end, but for the majority, Vega’s already gone. Only Cammy, Hawk, and Guile attack Vega according to my theory before Gouki appears.

No they don’t. Just the franchise and completely new games they design themselves. Hence Streetwise has a fairly dormant but viable chance.

I did. Learned quite a few things. Old Warriors Fate still has a gap though, but I’ll take what I can get.

I thought someone also asked if Vega tried to psycho crush Guile’s family, wouldn’t Guile know about Gouki? Not necessarily. In Adon’s Z3 ending, he figures that that’s who just offed Vega, but he’s not sure. And that’s from him remembering how Gouki took care of Adon’s Muay Thai title contender in his Z2 ending, and his obsession journey after that. Guile might not even have seen what happened to cause Vega to vaporize, could’ve been shielding his family with his back to Vega because it’s so sudden, bracing for the impact, hoping he takes the brunt of the blow and not his wife and daughter, then all of the sudden Vega looks like he burnt himself out. If Guile does see Gouki, he might see a rapidly moving silhouette, doubtful that it’d be anything substantial to, say, tell Ken or Ryu about. Or maybe he does tell Ryu something. Who knows.:looney:

Tried compressing the guide, now it seems to be taking it. So I guess now I keep checking its status. I guess if anyone wants 4.4 as a reference, get it before it’s replaced.

Send it to me I’ll update http://fightingstreet.com/folders/variousinfofolder/variousinfopages/streetfighterplotguide.txt

Hi guys i’m back ^^ (kinda took a pause, since i was ill)
Wanted to know if someone translated the char page for El Fuerte on capcom jp sf4’s site ?
If so, could any of you give me some link ? ^^
Thx

And happy bday vasili !

Happy birthday, Vasili! Hope those contribution issues go okay!

Thanks. I think it’s alright now.

Thanks. I did, a while back.

El Fuerte- Hot Wind Hurricane
Said to be a Luchador and cook, he wears two hats. With that feverous blood-circulating soul, he’s also not inferior to outrivaling the red cyclone. Journeying out desiring the ultimate cuisine, his skill as a cook is now first.

Once again, thanks vasili ^^

Pas du tout Lonewolf_Fenrir.

And it’s up.:woot: That was nice and quick.

Updated the link (same URL as before)

My sig has been updated. Now to go change it on Newsarama and the Capcom forums.

This one really interesting to know.

Thank you very much again vasili dude and everyone for making thing clear.

downloading the guide…

You’re welcome The_Shakunetsu. Happy reading. And remember, it’s still far from complete.

OOo. Something to read! GOnna dig into this tomorrow, hopefully!

I see Andore and Hugo sections have been separated again. This reminds me: I was flipping through AAC the other day, and it occurred to me: Not sure it was mentioned before, but the character listing at the back lists separate entries for the same character based on artwork. This is why there are three SF2 entries for the original 12 SF2 characters (albeit under the same name), since their artwork changed three times (WW, then CE/HF, then Super/ST).

I think this is important with regard to the Hugo/Andore mess. As we know, AAC has separate character entries that have different names (Bison/Final M.Bison) when they have the same artwork, and different sub entries for the same character with different artwork (every one else who has more than one piece of artwork). In Hugo/Andore’s case, he appears under two names AND has multiple artworks attributed to each.

This is why in SFZ3, he’s listed twice, because one piece of artwork applies to both: He is listed under Andore because Andore appears in Guy’s stage as Andore, as he did in SFZ2, but he is also listed under Hugo because he appears as Hugo on a billboard; note, however, that the Hugo artwork is not original, but merely a scaled down reproduction of some Second Impact flyer work, which was definitely attributable to Hugo. Hence, Andore/Hugo is listed twice for SFZ3 in AAC, once under each name the character goes by.

A similar situation can be found with Evil Ryu and Ryu, who are listed separately under separate names in AAC, but we have no doubt that they’re the same character. And like with Hugo/Andore, they both appear in SFZ3 with different artworks attributed (this is as opposed to E.Ryu’s Zero 2 Alpha and EX+ entries, which are also listed separately to the normal Ryu for those games, but the artwork is the same, just coloured differently).

Summary Plz: More evidence that Hugp = Andore. Or to be more precise, there’s no evidence that he’s not Andore. :stuck_out_tongue:
