The one with Geese is from an SNK vs Capcom game, I think from the Neo Geo Pocket one but I’m not sure.
The other ones are from a series I’ve been looking for for a long time now. They are ususally used for third party products with Capcom license such as the Psikyo Mahjong game or shirts, toys and figures. Where do you have them from? The last one seems to be a PANINI product but they don’t have all their products listed, at least I can’t find it. http://www.paninionline.com/collectibles/institutional/bt/uk/
Found a bigger pic of the cover:
I have never seen a whole series and wonder who drew them. They look a bit like the SFIIAM art but have some uniqueness. SFD claim they’re going to have “all artwork” on their site but I doubt that’s going to happen so we’ll have to wait till we find it somewhere. I believe those two Super Deformed art series are part of it too: http://fightingstreet.com/pics/temp/various/commercialart.jpg

So it’s probably 4 series. 2 normal and 2 SD. Maybe 2 for SSFII and 2 for SSFIIX?
Why don’t you just take snapshots of the sfz quotes with a cheap camera or take screenshots with your computer?
Would you be interested in joint-maintaining with me future translated quote and dialogue faqs for the games? In the same format as sano’s is with Capcom Fighting Jam?
Yeah might be for the best since I’ve been so busy lately I still haven’t given our faq it’s micro update ack! Well Studio Udon’s coming back to the NY Anime and Manga con this Friday-Saturday so maybe I can get a sketch of Mukuro I can toss in there… Hey good excuse for a delay.
I have a couple of things I’ve been meaning to post on this thread but haven’t gotten around to it, hopefully tomorrow or the next day. Nothing big, Akiman’s girl of the month, random Capcom games timeline/storyline info and some other stuff.
Hey guys, I have a question. Does Alex use Nash’s Sonic based moves for some of his attacks like: Flash Chop and Slash Elbow? Because I figured that since tom a former soldier trains him in the art of combat and his Gym is located on an military base. Maybe he learns some techniques from the military?
Tom has heard of Guile’s name just in passing, and he’s heard hearsay about Nash in relation to some incidents. That’s pretty much all the SF3 Fanbook says.
Ryu, Ken, Chun and Dhalsim are returning in SF4 !
(i hope they have a good reason to make Dhalsim come back, cause he was supposed to be retired from street fighting…)
Anyway the screen looks awesome ^^
They could have the lamest reason in the world. The more important thing is that a classic character is returning. While I’m as big a storyline fag as any of the folks in this thread, what’s ultimately going to matter to people playing the game is the gameplay. Dhalsim’s style of gameplay is unique among the Sf crowd (Necro is a poor substitute), so his return, as long as his style remains intact, is welcome.
They also need back, at minimum, Guile and Sagat. Zangief would be good too.
Seriously ? I wouldn’t mind any of those not being in there.
Just keep Ryu / Ken and i’m happy.
Dhalsim coming back just doesn’t make any sense…Not acceptable.
We shall see…
For real, Sagat needs to come back or I’m not playing that game. As hypd as I’am about SFIV. I’m also worried, since Capcoms classic arcade teams have long left.
Capcom still has a bunch of people left. Posted by va-va on another thread.
*So, many people wondered about what happened to the SF 3 - 3 team?
Here’s some info:
Programmers:
Kazuhito Nakai: programmer on CF JAM
Nobuya Yoshizumi : p. on Devil Kings
Yuko Kawamura : p. on Resident Evil Outbreak 2
Hiroshi Nakagawa : p. on Devil May Cry 3
Yoshinobu Inada: p. on Gundam Seed: Federation vs. Z.A.F.T. 2 Plus
Masahito Ohya : p. on Devil Kings and Lost Planet
Akihiro Yokoyama: software support on Ultimate Ghosts ‘N’ Goblins
Game Designers:
Hidetoshi Ishizawa: director of CF JAM
Haruo Murata: Script Writer on RE 4 ps2 version
Tomonori Ohnuma: assistant planner on Resident Evil Outbreak
Yasunori Ichinose: director of Monster Hunter Portable 2

As you can see, Capcom probably still has what it takes to make a good fighting game. *
