Anyone know anything about this? R. Mika appears to cameo in it for some reason, and that girl is wearing a Minami High uniform, I think. This game apparently was released 01/05/24, by the way…
We don’t know what the evil that the shadow of Bushin must slay. But what if Bison was that shadow, and that instead of slaying Bison (like he SHOULD have done), he saved Rose (not knowing she was really Bison) and thus, didn’t fulfill the prophecy so he had to die.
Thanks for the people who gave a comment for all the people who don’t know I was asking for advice on my fan fiction. It’s going to be about Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo. I was asking advice about how certain characters fight. If you have any ideas please reply. For example if you have an idea about how Vega’s fight style would be for example would it be aggressive, patient, or whatever you think. Thanks
I think a good way to tell how they would fight would be to look at their typical CPU patterns.
Vega (spanish guy), for example, would be all over you from the air, barraging you with jump kicks, ground kicks and quick stabs aplenty. If you weather his aerial assaults and you manage to break off his claw and/or mask, he starts fighting like a madman, which makes him more dangerous but also more vulnerable to counterattack; Balrog (boxer) will just rush that shit down but he’d do it on the ground. His defense would be terrible, as he wouldn’t block much, so you’d be able to beat him as long as you don’t let him hit you; Bison (psycho crusher guy) would overwhelm you with everything in his psycho arsenal, attacking you from the air and the ground equally, and his defense and offense would be awesome. He would, however, get over confident and leave a few holes in his attack plan that someone could take advantage of if they survive long enough, etc.
I think you could come up with a basic pattern for all the ST characters this way.
However, I must state that trying to come up with a storyline reason for why the characters could use all supers in Alpha but only one in ST is extremely stupid. It’s a gameplay implementation that Capcom didn’t think of because ST came first. I dno’t think there’s any reason you could come up with in story that doesn’t sound lame. Just my opinion.
Hey Tiamat, I think you should put those fastest Street Fighters in your FAQ.
Tiamat, in your FAQ it says that the Shun Goku Satsu translates roughly as “Instant Hell Murder”. However, I saw some FAQs that say that it actually means “Imprisoning Death Flash”. (And the authors are pretty credible, too. Kao Megura is one of them.) Which one is true? And why is there another meaning?
What’s up people? This is Grenade Falcon under a new account name. My computer broke down some time ago and when it was restored, I couldn’t remember my goddamn password to log into this site again. So I’m posting under this crummy account in hopes of retrieving my old password from akumachan, whom I haven’t heard from for two months now (I miss my red Gouki avatar ).
I have some more questions, 5 of which are about Rolento:
Was it all the pain and suffering associated with warfare and the absence of piece that made Rolento snap, seeing as how he strives to create a utopia? Does it have something to do with the scar on his face?
How does being a member of Mad Gear make Rolento a criminal when he’s trying to build a utopia? What known crimes did he commit? (This just suddenly came to mind when I thought about Chun-Li and Kim addressing him as an “evil” character when they fight him in CvS2.)
Where is it stated that Rolento’s American? His ending in CvS2 says something about him failing to contact the Brazilian Mercenaries Organization after winning the tournament. Is it possible that he’s Brazilian?
Is it stated in All About Capcom that El Gado brings down the hook in Rolento’s “Take No Prisoners” super from a helicopter? Doesn’t seem likely when you consider the move being done in an interior stage.
How the heck does Rolento roll around without injuring himself on the grenades dangling on his back, let alone setting them off? (Silly trivial question, I know. But I’m just curious. :D)
And lastly…
I heard from somewhere that around SFA2-3’s timelines, Gouki and Gen were supposed to be equal. Is this true? I sure hope it isn’t, because then that would make SnH Ryu look more powerful than Gouki at the time, and he was supposed to be at least on TS Ryu’s level during SF1. What’s worse is that when you take note of Ryu’s SFA2 ending where Gouki destroys the island Goutentou with his fist, Gouki being Gen’s equal would make it seem like SnH Ryu is capable of destroying obstacles larger than an island, and thus so is the current Ryu.
Pheww, this place feels a little… “alien” to me now that the colors have changed. Was it because of Evol 2k2 or something?
Hmm… can’t answer all of these, but I could answer a few
How does being a member of Mad Gear make Rolento a criminal when he’s trying to build a utopia? What known crimes did he commit?
Participating in the kidnapping of Jessica and basically helping plot out Mad Gear’s tactical strategy for doing villainous acts like armed robbery, I guess. Well, at least, I can’t imagine he kept clean while being a member of a gang like that.
Where is it stated that Rolento’s American? His ending in CvS2 says something about him failing to contact the Brazilian Mercenaries Organization after winning the tournament. Is it possible that he’s Brazilian?
I believe the Brazilian Mercenaries Organization is a reference to the Ikari Warriors of the SNK universe. IE, he contacted them asking them to join his organization but they refused. At least, I saw several Ikari fans say how pissed they were at all the references to the Ikari team in CvS2 without any members of it actually being playable, and Rolento’s ‘ending’ was cited as one of the references (the others being background stage appearances, I believe)
Is it stated in All About Capcom that El Gado brings down the hook in Rolento’s “Take No Prisoners” super from a helicopter? Doesn’t seem likely when you consider the move being done in an interior stage.
It’s the same logic as R. Mika’s ring appearing out of no where, Juni summoning Bison against Bison, and Akuma using the raging demon and against Gen or Dhalsim, I imagine. I don’t believe it was stated in All About Capcom but I did hear it from somewhere (where exactly, I don’t remember anymore. It’s been a long time since I transcribed that as something coming from a reliable source)
Whether interior or exterior, where else would El Gado, Holly Wood, and the hook come from?
I heard from somewhere that around SFA2-3’s timelines, Gouki and Gen were supposed to be equal. Is this true? Hence the ponderings and wonderment at how Gen could have lost the SF1 tournament. (probably should file this under the “no clue how it works out, but it’s the way things are” category)
Ohhhhh, I see. So it’s another rare crossover ending like Ryo’s where Takuma mistakes him for the loser wearing the pink gi. I gotta keep in the back of my head that not all endings in the game are meant to enforce character traits and possible roles in future titles.
There must be more to CvS2’s “storyline” than meets the eye after all! chuckles
If the VS games are “What Ifs” that are supposed to give hints on a character’s future, I believe we have found the reason as to why Balrog/Vega isn’t in SF3.
I think he says “Beauty exists beyond this realm…maybe I should get rid of my mortal shell.” at least something like that, could it be that Vega commited suicide to be even more beautiful? I wouldn’t put it past him.
From now on, I’m going to call chars by their Japanese names.
Questions on the SF2 tourney:
Why is Balrog permitted to participate in the tourney!!! He’s carrying a claw! My, he could kill someone!!! (If this is true, might as well join it too and carry a gun and when the fight starts, “BANG, BANG!!!” I win.)
I played SF2 a while ago in my comp. Seeing Vega’s ending, I wonder who that ancient one is. Possible candidates:
Oro (150 yrs. old and insanely strong. I think he is the one)
Gill (godly strong. But he isn’t "ancient. Maybe Vega’s talking about the reincarnated “messiah”?)
Geki used a claw in the SF2 tourney, and the weapon probably can’t be projectile used, a claw isn’t projectiley used, but a gun is.
Vega(Bison) ending of the first SF2 version don’t count anymore, it was over written by his turbo revival ending, which he no longer states his ancient one ending.
And a question about Vega(Bison), whats his Nationality, Russian, or Thai?
