Rose’s SFA3 ending had to take place first. When Charlie blew up Bison, he blew up the Psycho Drive, too. Even if Bison avoided the bomb, blowing up the psycho drive would have released all the energy and caused Bison to explode, anyway.
…yeesh. That all still confuses me, but that’s the only way it can happen that I can think of.
Yeah. I guess right.
But damn man I need a name to call them. I know it sounds stupid, but they have to be called something. I can’t just call Chun Li,evil Chun Li,or Terry, evil Terry.
Dan’s Saikyo style is too pure, too tauntarific to ever have the intent to kill.
EDIT - A question, does 3s have character specific quotes like in 2I? As in, if Remy beats down Ryu a set number of times in a row, he says something special pertaining only to Ryu? If so, can I have Remy’s? I, for some reason, haven’t been able to find them anywhere.
i don’t think 3s has any character specific win-quotes.
tiamat:
even thoguh i respect your opinion, i think that there are 2 potential problems with the rose thing happening before guile / charlie.
if bison’s soul was in rose’s body, how could he have managed to go back to the psycho drive room?
blowing up the psycho drive would have caused bison to explode? are you referring to the body or the soul? i guess body, because soul wopuld have completed destroyed him before he even got to SF2. but are you sure that blowing up the psycho drive would have annihilated the body that bison was born in?
I already said it before, I believe. I have no clue how it happened and it still confuses me, but due to the answer to #2 below, it’s the only way it could.
It’s been stated that the psycho drive blowing up caused all the energy it was storing to be released into Bison’s body in an instant and his body couldn’t handle the overload so boom. I don’t think souls have the ability to explode
actually, that makes sense assuming that bison simply beat-up rose when they met. he probably left her there, and went to the Psycho Drive to deal with G & C. after it blew up, he had no other choice but to rejoin his other half. however, what happens to guy is still something of a mystery
Hi I don’t know if you guys remember me, but I used to comment on occassion before the thread went down. I really want to write a fan fiction about the Second World Warrior tournament(Street Fighter 2 turbo). I just need some opinions on two things. First how would you describe Ken, Ryu, and Sagat’s fighting styles. Like do you think they would fight defensively or offensively or something in between. Also I need someone to come up with a plausible reason that I could explain in a storyline why in alpha characters could use three supers in a fight but in this tournament they could only use one. I know that in the game Alpha came out later, but like I said I need a storyline reason. I would like everyone to comment on this Clay, Ultima, Fist of Fury, and evryone else thanks.
Walking speed, Guy is definitely the fastest. If you count all the jumping around, Rolento would be at the top. Strongest hitters are probably Zangief and Sodom.
i think that they’re all offensive, but ken is more offensive than ryu, sine ryu relies more on zoning & control the tempo with hadoukens, while ken more combo oriented and aggressive. sagat is kinda like ryu as well, since the 2-level tiger shot gives him more options for controlling the pace of the match
**
i’m not sure what mean. are you saying that the alpha characters had more moves than their SF2 counter-parts?
Ryu - his fighting style would be very calm without any wasted movements. All his attacks are fine and precise.
Ken - A very aggressive and flashy fighter. Does alot of attacks that look flashy and won’t hesitate to show off in battle.
Sagat - Very brutal style and more aggresive than Ken. Simply put, he fights like a furocious tiger. His attacks always lead into another, whether the opponent blocks or not.
SFZ wasn’t a tournament so there were no rules. SF2 and SF3 are official tournaments so everyone was limited to only using one super…
