Warriors Fate: Street Fighter story thread, revived

sano: Sure thing and thanks again. Looking forward to next weekend’s efforts.

Golden Dragon: Thank you very much sir. If the info’s in a manual, please see if he can tell you numbers for Adon, and for Ken & Ryu if those are available. Otherwise, please see how they can be found within the game, for aerialgroove’s reference. Thanks a lot.

Hey everyone, I just got into shoryuken.com to track down TiamatRoar and thank
him (as well as everyone who aided him) for making the best damn SF plot guide I
have ever imagined to exist.

I’ve been reading it for days now at Gamefaqs and I gotta say
It’s so freakin complete and wide that even capcom couldn’t have done any better.

Thanks RickBB. Just wait until it gets finished.:bgrin:

Welcome to SRK.

Thanks, Rick. I’m glad you’re enjoying the plot guide^^

For certain.

RickBB - I’ll say thanks for my small part in the SF Plot Guide even though I never see myself as an SF storyline person but more of a Capcom fanboy and about 90% of my posts on this thread have nothing to do with SF’s story at all. Ohs well LONG LIVE THE SF PLOT GUIDE AND THIS THREAD!

You mean it’s not finished!!??

What else is there to add?

Oh, one thing I didn’t understand. If Ken met Elisa in SFA ending,
and you said he met her in SF1 on the US martial arts champion
(since he didn’t participate in the World Warrior tourney), then that
means that Ken’s ending is not actually in SFA but rather a flashback:wasted:

or something like that:sweat: …

Nope.

Lots.

That brings up a question from me: when did the Pan-American Fighting Championship occur in relation to the World Fighting Championship? If Ken met Eliza at the American tournament, would you say that was before or after Ryu defeated Sagat and Ken heard about it?
If we say before, then the scenes blending Ken’s SFZ ending with his SFZ2 ending would reverse the order of the first two: meeting scene with Eliza, red headband given to Ryu, and Eliza with a ponytail.
If we say after, which is what I’ve assumed up until now, the scene order stays the same as currently in the guide.

I think it’s after SF1, because well Ken doesn’t have the ponytail thing in the SF1 game nor is his hair long enough so it couldn’t be before or during IMHO.

I don’t think SF1 graphics have much to say. Ryu never wears his shoes on any other game. Also there’s a time bomb like in Final Fight on the continue screen. Doesn’t really fit together. And who are all the people in the crowd when you smash the bricks? In the stages there is nobody. Because it would have been to difficult to include people in the stages.

Yeah but nothing really goes against Ryu wearing red chinese slippers during SF1 either other than him loosing them just before giving Sagat the uppercut in those SFZ3 endings. As for the time bomb thing it doesn’t kind of matter because Ryu doesn’t loose any of the matches and Final Fight characters always pull through, so that scenario never happens. People in the backgrounds - true that’s because of graphics. But people aren’t always in SF backgrounds all the time in any game anyway. How exactly is the tourney monitored / controlled is one of those things left up to our imaginations.

SF1 graphics aside it still makes more sense to me that Ken enters the US Martial Arts tourney happens after and not before or during SF1, but that’s just me.

Oh yeah!
I remembered something!

I don’t think I saw this on your plot guide! (I might me sorta irrelevant though)
Whatever,

Did you know that Killer Instinct (that arcade fighting game by NINTENDO)
made a parody of Blanka’s ending? It was made in the character’s Eyedol ending.
here’s the link:

I wonder if you already know that though…:wonder:

Yeah that was a fun game, it’s made by Rare. Thanks for the link. It should be in a KI plot guide, why would it be in a SF plot guide?

Yeah I though so:sweat:

I didn’t find any guide on Gamefaqs with ALL of this info, so:

In Turbo Revival’s arcade mode, a game played to the end using no continues and 5 perfect finishes will pit you against Akuma, except that just as he’s about to speak to you, the game will freeze, lock and permanently glitch as described in nIwSe’s faq.

In X Revival’s arcade mode, a game played to the end using no continues and 4 perfect finishes will pit you against Gouki. He’ll give you one of his Zero quotes at the screen where Turbo Revival would freeze. Contrary to the map pointing to Japan as the spot for fighting him, you’ll fight Shin Gouki minus the SGS in Vega’s Thailand stage, and just like in Zero 1 and 2, you have only one chance for victory. If you beat him, your fighter’s ending proceeds as if you defeated Vega. If you lose, he gives you the exact same quote as before the fight started, disappears, and you fight Vega as normal if you continue.

Found these out partially by accident.:bgrin: Anyway, on to Chun Li:

Chun Li from SFZ

Original account from SF2 Himitsu Hyakka

“Father…where could you be and what could you be up to right now…” For Chun Li, deep breaths, as she slept in bed.
While tracking down the narcotics organization, in order to search for her father’s become unknown whereabouts, Chun Li, like her father became an Interpol detective, with very little progress along the way with investigations.
Pururu, pururu…As Chun Li was sleeping, suddenly, the telephone began to ring.
“Yes this is Chun Li…hello…?“
Chun Li gripped the phone still, no one was replying. A little while later, she heard an eerie male voice from the phone.
”…Now, you are behind this case, and in turn with the stirrings of a grand narcotics organization. Furthermore, this organization has ties with all authorities. Naturally even the police’s upper strata…for approachers awaits ‘death’. …watch your back…”
"W, wait, you are!?"
No answer to Chun Li’s call, from the receiver, a dispatching sound could be heard.
“This, wasn’t a prank call…, impossible…it couldn’t be…” Chun Li tightly grasped the receiver as she was standing up.
Now, Chun Li’s fierce battle begins!!

Official story from Gamest SFZ and AASFZ

Chun Li gave a great sigh, and as such she collapsed into bed.
For the sake of searching out her father’s become unaccounted-for whereabouts, bravely Chun Li became an Interpol detective, with investigations having nothing special being shown with progress, in vain the months and days passed.
Up until just before her father’s disappearance it was Interpol’s Investigations Division pursuing a so-called narcotics organization-from that exposure Interpol’s full capacity was expected to pour into it, influential news originally caused for even exposed military operations, how was it that nothing but the color of feet continued being trampled on. Such that within, Chun Li’s heart gathered feelings of only impatience and irritation. At times her mind would unavoidably think of the “worst” of circumstances.
“Father…where could you be and what could you be up to right now…” With Chun Li grasping her sheets, she murmured. But, she shut her eyes and, with her entire body’s overflowing sense of fatigue in time a world of sleep lured her.

Unexpectedly a living telephone noisily rang. Honestly just about everything that can release one from a slumber, recalling at last her listless body awakens and, seemingly dragging along the mouthpiece she faced it.
“Yes this is Chun Li…hello…?“
In that instant, was a male voice.
”…Now, you are the one pursuing behind this case, your imagination is beyond big…and in turn with the stirrings of a grand narcotics organization. Furthermore, this organization has ties to say links with all authorities. Naturally even the police’s upper strata…for approachers awaits ‘death’. …watch your back…”
"W, wait, you are!?"
Her call went unanswered. Just from the ear of the phone receiver was a small echoing back.

With entirely no idea about the man from the sudden phone call…furthermore, that man spoke with astonishing detail.
“Impossible…it can’t be…” Chun Li tightly grasped the receiver and nothing more as she continued standing up. Merely a random prank…? Still…
With the occassion for this mysterious call, a situation began to move. However, that was one which Chun Li didn’t yet know the result for the vortex of struggles and, even the matters she would be dragged into.

Next time, Guy. Thanks as always for reading minna-san.

Wow almost like in Departed. So Shad has spies within the police. Thanks!

You’re quite welcome aerialgroove.

Anything yet?

Celebrating my 100.000 hits, I’ll release some SF related videos next week.
