Warriors Fate: Street Fighter story thread, revived

While we’re on the subject of NG, I have a silly question: anyone know how to get the Adon and Joe look-alike’s to appear in Elena’s Nairobi stage?

I think they’re always there in the Dreamcast version, after the bridge is gone. If you only have one round set, you won’t see them.

Unfortunately no, I don’t always see them after the bridge breaks. I wonder if it’s a somewhat random factor after certain criteria like how Gamepro explained when Akuma appears as a boss in Super Turbo, or triggered just by certain criteria: perfect round, special or super art win, a round won very quickly, etc. Also if they appear in round 2 and you stretch the fight to round 3, sometimes they’ll be gone and other times they’ll stay.

What system are you playing?

I got CCC2 for PS2 and unlocked the art of SSF2T by selecting O. Sagat but I can’t see that T.hawk sketch, am I missing some kind of secret art? how can I unlock it? thanks in advance!!

Dreamcast, that and the arcade are your only choices AFAIK.

  • Red Cylone made another E. Honda post.
  • So I guess there is no list of all the things Capcom USA changed in the games?

Not that I know of. But other than name changes, quotes, dialogue, intro’s and endings which we’re quite aware of, here are some other things that come to mind:

-in SF1, Ryu/Ken announces the names of his specials in Japanese as he does them, like all the games. The US machine has him saying “fire punch”, “dragon punch”, etc.

-in SSF2, same idea as above, Cammy’s moves include the spiral arrow and cannon spike. In US versions she says “cannon drill” and “thrust kick.” I don’t remember if the same thing happens in Alpha 2 and Alpha 3.

-we brought this up more recently, in SF3 2I Akuma’s blood color is green when he loses while Gouki’s is red.

-SFZ’s dramatic battle is played to one of the SF2AM’s tracks; in Alpha you hear Bison’s regular theme when Ryu & Ken fight him.

Oh crap. I apologize for saying that, it was a mistake. The power of suggestion has its downsides and this is one of them.

I recall seeing that sketch on a terminal before, but when I checked the bonuses again it wasn’t there. So now I know it isn’t from CCC2; rather it was something I found on the web. I can’t remember where though. It wasn’t from the site aerialgroove pointed out because I never knew it existed until now, and it certainly wasn’t at fightersgeneration.

Ok thanks for replying, the sole doubt was making me a little anxious, BTW great collection, I unlocked the “easy specials” cheat for SSF2T (via Capcom Quiz & Dragons) and it’s really fun just to mess up with the cheat turned on.

Thanks vasili10 I guess I’ll make one for FightingStreet.com.

Kat. and Spoonman, let me know if you find another piece of art that is new to you.

Thanks all of you!

Does anybody know who eliminated ken during the third street fighter tournament, I’m pretty sure I read ryu was the one in one of the plot guide versions. But, I can’t find it now.

The link to the SF Plot Guide is the first link in my sig. Well here it is again anyway -

Ken defeated Sean and dropped out after Oro defeated Ryu, because Ken’s main reason for participating was for him to be able to fight Ryu again.

That’s been in the SF Plot Guide since pretty much the begining. You are probably thinking about when Ryu defeated Ken during SF3 Third Strike, which wasn’t a Tournament but told the events of what happened after the SF3 Tournament(AKA World Warrior Tournament) that occured in SF3 Second Impact.

You mean ‘World Fighting Championship’ and technically, only the SF1 and 2 competitions went under that name according to AAC. I’m a nerd!

Okay thanks!

Sorry, I’m to blame for that label you gave yourself!

Can someone post the official picture of ryu waering jeans and also the one with ryu doing his laundry.

The laundry one I have on hand -

Yeah it’s SFEX artwork.
