I take it this is what you’re referring to:
http://img413.imageshack.us/img413/5057/finalfight3e0000ya6.th.png
I was never sure what that was.
^Yeah-huh that be it! Are you able to make it out now? It’s a shot of his face. Compare it to the portrait of him in his Super Turbo ending. Does that count as a cameo??
I never realized the Birdie reference in Streetwise before. Hmm, I wouldn’t be too surprised. Unless it’s just a “skinheads always do headbutts” stereotype sort of thing. But maybe not, since lots of Streetwise seems to have references in things like that (IE, references like Damnd’s whistle etc that have no storyline relevance/connection whatsoever but are still references to other characters)
And that Cammy thing is VERY interesting. It might just be the translation, but these things in particular caught my eye:
Cammy has superhuman abilities (like fast healing). These things prove that Cammy was indeed some sort of biological experiment. They do NOT prove that she was actually CREATED in a tube or whatever, but they certainly prove that her abilities were not received through mere training so at the very least, Shadaloo scientists did stuff to her.
Cammy going into “auto-attack” mode and trying to kill the supreme commander as well as Cammy’s psyche remembering mind-control (unless that was a reference to the English military doing mind-control experiments as well? Well, either way, there’s still the auto-attack thing) proves that Cammy was a brainwashed puppet when she worked for Shadaloo.
And finally, this paragraph in particular is evidence that Street Fighter Alpha/Zero’s portrayal of Shadaloo being powerful BEFORE SF2 but then getting all busted up so that by the time of SF2, it was much weaker.
“Shadoloo…surely only the British interior would’ve targeted it, a worthless puny organization…previously an organization such that it’s existence was quite dangerous, says the data but…”
(So that whole thing about Shadaloo being really powerful during SFZ3 but then getting the beat down before SF2 seems to have been true even before the SFZ series came about)
And I guess Yun’s entire SFA3 storyline wasn’t just a movie. Drat, that would have made a lot more sense. Now instead of saying “It was just a movie”, it’s “It obviously couldn’t have happened.” Blech, I liked the former explanation better.
Street Fighter 4: Jerry of SOTA Toys kinda vaguely hinted that SOMETHING was going on, but he also said “Don’t hold your breath” and more recently once grumbled “If Capcom would finally get off their butts and make something new, Street Fighter figures would sell better!”.
Sooooo… maybe Capcom is just pondering SF4 or something but it isn’t a certainty? That’s the best explanation I can think of.
Well, prior experience has shown that ‘something’ usually means SF2 is being ported to yet another system, a new combination of old SF games packaged together, a completely different game altogether, etc. Y’know how it is.

Does Gouki’s SSF2X entry in AAC mention anything of interest (excluding the part about him killing M. Bison, of course)??
But notice that it goes on to say that nobody possesses a precise assessment of Shadaloo’s status. Plus, it mentions that the name “Shadaloo” was giving Wolfman bad vibes. It seems to me like they’re implying that Delta Red’s data may be severely inaccurate.
Nothing else we don’t know already, Gouken’s younger brother, offed his master Goutetsu 20 years before, his whole body emits a red aura from SnH, and I mentioned 2 pages ago that perhaps his design was in fact modeled after a Buddhist image or statue, confirming that RamirezPlatinum was on the right track.
ALMOST nobody knows the truth about Shadoloo’s status just prior to SF2 and Vega going public using television as the medium and with Mr. Marik’s assistance. The data Colonel Wolfman references is already inaccurate on the count of Shadoloo being no longer dangerous simply because of its relatively dormant state, but I doubt the data would be wrong on the count of Shadoloo having been dangerous in the past. British Intelligence would have been aware of Interpol’s earlier investigations through Chun Li’s father and the US’s earlier skirmishes using Nash, all for delving into an organization that didn’t seem to be so narrowly face-valued as just another drug syndicate. Whether following the older SF2 accounts with Shadoloo gradually building up and going public in SF2, or taking the Zero series which by Zero 3 clarifies Vega and Shadoloo at the height of power, taking a crippling blow, then recovering & returning for SF2, Shadoloo’s been a threat before the second World Fighting Championship, and the main difference is the number of people aware that it is at different points of the timeline.
TiamatRoar, Cammy’s mind control in the account is a reference to the military’s experiments.
Lord Vega, I had only said many names/generations is incorrect, not bodies.
I found this month’s issue of EGM’s listing of the Top Ten Gayest video game characters more interesting than that whole SF4 rumor thing. BTW, Zangief made #8.
I’ll post up what it said about Gief later.
And Eagle?
Nope.
Here’s what it said for Zangief -
*8. ZANGIEF
Street Fighter Series
“Not all gay guys are femmy, limpwristed dudes who dart about stroking their long, feathered hair. So, Capcom decided to represent the burly side of things with the Russian man-grappler Zangief. But what really gives away his gayness? The skintight Speedo? The thatch of groomed chest hair? Or maybe it’s the fact he dislikes “beautiful young women.” Yeah, that’s pretty queer.” *
The rest of the list of the top ten gayest characters -
- Raphael Sorel - Soul Calibur II & III
- Birdo - Super Mario Series
- Juhani - Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
- Don Flamenco - Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!!
- King of all Cosmos - Katamari Damacy
- Major Ivan Raidenovitch Raikov - Metal Gear Solid 3
- Hana Tsu-Vachel & Rain Qin - Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix
- Pierre and Gerard Magimel - Shadow Hearts Covenant
- Tingle - Zelda Series
The list was compiled by Fruit Brute of gaygamer.net, not EGM themselves.
The King Of All Cosmos has a wife and son. Eagle is gayer than any other SF character. Is Tingle more of an eunuch than any other elf?
For some of them they kind of mean ‘acting gay’ as opposed to well, sleeping with men/same sex which is only the case with some of those characters. I think the only people having gay sex are 4, 3(both women) and 2.
Tingle just wins (not that I agree with it but eh) because he wants to be a Fairy, prances around like, well he prances around period. All Fairies in the Legend of Zelda have been known to be women, I think the only time I saw male fairies associated with Zelda was in the American cartoon, which shouldn’t count. So him wanting to be a ‘Fairy’ with all of them being female… Not to mention Fairy’s another term for homosexuals, sometimes not a positive one.
Yeah, about Eagle - I agree with you, but unless you are aware of his Japanese CVS2 quotes or his Gameboy Advance SFA3 English quotes you’re kind of gonna miss it if you’re not a hardcore SF person. Nothing really gay about him in SF1 really.

Thanks for uploading them! Pages 11 and 12 have my first post ever on SRK, on the internet period, except for a random earlier post somewhere to see how posting on SRK works. Good times!

Yeah it does look a lot like the Illuminati and Necro.
Got Mighty Final Fight on the GBA on CCC Mini yesteday, I’ll put up the bios up here soon. Haven’t beaten it yet or anything, picked up Okami and KOF 2006 on the same day and after hearing some bad news within my family I only had time to play them all a little bit.
Heh heh, it’s fun that you get to punch super deformed Poison in the face without that Billy and Sid crap.
Is his name Poison or Poison Kiss in the manual?
There’s no name for ‘him’ in the manual. And in the game itself, all enemies are called ‘enemy’ except for bosses due to pre-boss fight dialog like Final Fight One.
Damnd is renamed Thrasher, not too sure but it looks like Sodom is renamed Kitana, however it seems like Kitana has a few twin brothers in the game, not sure what’s up with that yet. The order of bosses so far is Thrasher, Kitana and then Abigail. Abigail does in fact kiss you in this game. Belger is in love with Jessica here which is why he kidnapped her.
The game has a set number of continues so I haven’t finished it yet, I keep getting kissed to death by super deformed Abigail. For shame!
I think there are 3 Sodoms in the game bit only two have artwork. http://fightingstreet.com/folders/artworkfolder/artworkpages/ff_art_pages/mff_art_pages/mff_fullbodyart.html
Yeah, cool! The book describes 2 “Katanas.”
Beat Abigail but lost my life on what I’m assuming is Rolento’s level, I was on a platform elevator like on Rolento’s stage, only it was going down. Ack, gotta keep playing…
Looks like the Bosses have different dialogs with different characters. Haggar tells Katana he’s a “Slam Master.”
From the manual, Mighty Final Fight’s story -
Metro City, the crime capital of the world, has been overwhelmed by corruption and violence. At the center of the problem lies the Mad Gear Gang, a merciless band of punks and thugs that controls the city with an iron fist. But the leader of the gang wants more than just the city. He has fallen in love with the mayor’s daughter, and he’s going to do whatever it takes to have her.
Haggar’s daughter Jessica is missing and the leader of the Mad Gear Gang has her. He has plans to marry Jessica and take control of the whole city, but one man stands in the way. Haggar is in a fighting mood and he’s ready to crack come skulls to get his daughter back. Joining him in the rescue are his friends Guy, highly trained ninjitsu fighter, and Jessica’s longtime boyfriend, Cody, martial artist and karate master. Together, nothing’s going to stop them from getting her back and restoring peace to Metro City!
Characters -
CODY
Cody has been training in martial arts since he was nine years old. Now at the age of 22, he has mastered the art of karate. With so much experience, he has created his own unique fighting style, combining the art of karate with boxing. Cody is currently dating Haggar’s daughter Jessica.
Story on character select screen -
CODY
A TOUGH STREET FIGHTER WHO IS SKILLED WITH KNIVES.
GUY
Guy is a student of Master Genryusai. He studies the art of ninjitsu and possesses unmatched lightning speed and agility. With his skills of a ninja, Guy can catch most of his opponents off guard. Haggar and Cody are his good friends.
Story on character select screen -
GUY
DESCENDED FROM NINJA, HE POSSESSES INCREDIBLE AGILITY.
HAGGAR
Mike Haggar is currently the Mayor of Metro City. He was a former wrestler and champion street fighter. He’s determined to rescue his daughter Jessica and restore peace in Metro City.
Story on character select screen -
HAGGAR
THE HOT-TEMPERED WRESTLER AND MAYOR OF METRO CITY.
Bosses of Metro City (stuff in parenthesis by me sano.)
THRASHER (DAMND)
Haggar and his friends start their journey to rescue Jessica in the slums of Metro City. This is where they will find Thrasher, a cool blond with dark shades who wants to put an end to their mission. Being at the bottom of the totem pole, Thrasher will do whatever it takes to prove his worthiness to the Mad Gear Gang.
KATANA (SODOM)
The dangerous streets of Riverside are ruled by Katana. If Haggar and his friends want to go through, they’ll have to defeat this sword-swinging samurai. He’s quick with his razor sharp blade, so be very careful. He has a twin brother who rules the factory, but it has been rumored that a third may exist.
ABIGAIL
Abigail is your typical muscle-head. He’s got brains AND brawn. He’s been exercising his mind by reading trivia, so if you want to get Haggar, Guy and Cody past Old Town, you’ll have to answer his questions or he’ll plant a big wet kiss on your cheek.
KATANA #2 (Um, another Sodom???)
This is the second Katana brother Haggar and his friends encounter. He heads the factory where weapons are produced for the Mad Gear Gang. He thinks like his brother, so use ths same tactics to defeat him.
(And the Boss bios in the manual in there).
As far as storyline years go on the other two games on Capcom Classics Mini Mix, Nes Strider doesn’t list a year it takes place but it’s funny how this game is supposed to take place in the future and you have to find floppy disks, lol how times have changed. Nes Bionic Commando is dated 198X.
