I found it odd as well when I first saw the site (the same huge Zero 3 data page that you introduced us to BTW), but now not so much after recently finding that Guile’s SF2 stage is simply “Certain Air Force base”; there’s a strange open-ended obscurity in his stages for some reason.
Even without a name, his Z3 turf should be some other base with all the military hardware and soldiers scrolling along in the background. Eagerly waiting for someone to crack this.

Random: Looking at the Rival Schools story FAQ at gamefaqs, I realize now that Sakura’s debut in Rival Schools actually happens BEFORE Street Fighter Alpha 2 (she has yet to meet Ryu, and joins in the RS events for training purposes for the day she meets him. And of course realizes there’s more to training in her storyline). It’s only Evolution 2’s simulation disk it happens afterwards (where SFA2 events are referenced). That explains how she can be 15 in SFA2 while being most likely only 14 (first year student, school year mostly just starting) in RS.

I sent the Secret File (3rd Strike) to the Arcade Flyer Database guy (arcadeflyers.net) about a week ago, don’t know what takes them so long to update. You know I wish we could do something to get this fkin Oujou-san scan I mean we’ve been waiting for years (most of you even longer than me) to see it but nothing happened. This is one of the last secrets of the SF history.

In SFA2 Akuma sunk a island with one punch yet he’s only one tier 3 and SF3: third strike Ken is as powerful as SFA2 Akuma which doesn’t seem right to me.
Yeah, the Ojou-san scan… I don’t understand what the big deal is about Saiki putting the image online even if he doesn’t have a scanner… before I bought a scanner I found various ways to put stuff online, friend’s scanners, friend’s jobs with scanners, going to a copy shop like Fedex/Kinkos. Even him waiting to use his friend’s digital camera… um… almost everyone in America has a digital camera right now… I mean, I don’t know what Saiki’s financial situation is or where he lives exactly and I give him all the respect in the world for all he’s done for us in the past but seriously… it’s been over 5 years…
Maybe we should all start E-Mailing him and bothering him about it. He’s put his E-Mail address online a few times so me sharing his E-Mail address shouldn’t be a problem. If he realizes there are enough people who care about it maybe it will get him to finally scan it, or will we just be bugging him like the last time he was here and everyone asked about it and he disappeared from this thread for like forever… or, maybe we can send one big chain E-Mail where we all say we want to see it, write down what we have to say and bounce the E-Mail back and forth(then again, sometimes he misses E-Mails sent to him, so one E-Mail might not be a good idea, but flooding his inbox is also problematic…) What do you guys think? Other then that, I really don’t know what we can do about the situation.

May be sketches (plural), but nope and nope. The last I heard from him concerning these and about a dozen other topics he said he got my email and he’s working on the responses; this was just before Valentine’s Day.
On the topic of Ojou-san, Saiki slightly corrected himself in the old Warrior’s Fate thread after commenting on the Ojou-san/Sakura gifs which he said were pretty close to the sketches: her first look he should’ve said to imagine Yuri with hair like Kasumi (KOF '99~'00 style) rather than Mai.
About Sakura’s miscellaneous section, where does her Shadoloo U-38 file info paragraph come from? There’s no Secret File with such info (Ryu is A-4, Ken is B-1, etc. what the???), and the only online source I could find relating to it was a post made in a mugenguild forum last year. BTW 740106 is a number referenced to Cammy rather than Sakura. I challenge the above, anyone in defense for it?

I thought it was from Iggy, but in retrospect, it looks like I took it from some guy who just happens to be kinda similar to Iggy in a lot of ways (off-beat jokes, can speak both Japanese and Spanish, gathers lots of storyline info, etc)
Given the extreme ripping he does to people in some of his posts though, it’s rather obvious to me that he’s a canon nazi just like… well, us, and unlike say, TAS, the guy can apparently read Japanese (he does translations and kanji comparisons in several of his posts). He also seems to have a penchant for reaching into the vague far reaches of the galaxy for various official paraphernalia (apparently, the guy is familiar with Chrono Trigger’s Radical Dreamers, even). So I don’t see why he’d go around quoting something like that if he didn’t have a source. Saiki stated that there was indeed a time separate from the 3 college men incident where Shadaloo people tried to kidnap Sakura (I specifically remember asking him about that. I am, after all, the extreme obsessive Doll fanboy who will addictively clings to any remotely Doll-ish scrap of info I can get), and I could have sworn I saw Snowflake mention that Sakura did indeed officially go around beating up criminals or whatever too, so there are some correllary stories from other unrelated people. ZantetsuMug seems to have gone the most into detail about it, though. I wonder where that all comes from…
How is that number referenced to Cammy again? It does look familiar (maybe I saw it at Cammyfan or something). Maybe it was a Doll reference, although that would be before SFA3 was made (but after the Cammy Gaiden novel which probably inspired the Dolls was made as well, so…)

TiamatRoar - If it helps you differentiate the two a bit, Iggy knows English, Japanese, and French(he lives in France/is French as far as I know) not spanish. Once joking around over at MMCAFE I cursed him out in Spanish and he didn’t know what I was talking about, lol! He knows a little Spanish though.
