Well, Haggar’s US Slammasters bio lists his birthplace as New York. But… you can’t trust ANYTHING in the English version of Slammasters…
Attached is a screenshot of Haggar’s Japanese bio in Super Muscle Bomber. Even there, his birthplace is listed as Manhattan, New York.
Dude, weird. I guess Saiki was wrong. Even at that Jap. MB Messageboard I posted a while back, Haggar’s bio listed his Birthplace as New York. I forgot to mention that. I’ve translated it.

Well, Saiki never said that it was NOT New York heresay… it just wasn’t included in the list of bios he gave. 
Anyone can easily miss (or not even know if people want) finer details since a character has different bios per game, I suppose.

40 years? Ah, then I guess it’s true that Slammasters takes place about 6 years before Final Fight 1 (and 2 about 5 years, then). This means Slammasters 1 and 2 took place in 1981 and 1982… Or 1983 and 1984 if you go by the “Final Fight took place during 1989” thing that Capcom screws up with.

Well, Jessica does “seem” to be younger in the SlamMasters games. When Haggar wins and she comes in to the ring to throw her glitter while on his shoulders, she yells out “Daadddyyyy!!!” in a little girl voice. Its not much of an evidence however :bluu:
Unfortunately, Capcom didn’t see it necessary to change her outfit so it seems Jessica only has one dress to her name. Poor girl.

I have a bunch (about 240) of the official Versus The Card Game cards based on Cardfighter’s Clash. Most are the same art as in the game, although the full sized colored ones, and some just have standard official art. Would anyone be interested in scans of some of these? I don’t really know which cards I have, but I’m pretty sure Morrigan and Mai aren’t there 
And should I scan the full cards or just the artwork? Maybe in print size so people can make printouts of them?
I’m also bringing the manga version of the SF2 movie but I don’t want to scan anything from it, I would have to tear out the pages. Oh, and there’s the SF RPG that I could scan some official Turbo artwork from but I don’t have room for the book - after a PS2, an Xbox, a SNES, a GameCube and about 40 games my bags are full…
True, and Jessica should look younger, but judging by that pic of her (IF that IS Jessica) in one of the SMB flyers, it doesn’t like the artist even bothered to make her look younger. It’s still a nice portrait.

Sieg - In my opinion, the best cards are the Action Cards, like the ones that have two characters from different companies, like the one with Terry and Ryu, and such. Oh, and my favorite card is the Card Fighter’s Clash I Rose Card! Don’t know why, but next to her appearance in the Alpha Anime, this is the hottest she’s ever looked!
All the ones you mention are from CFC I, right? I never bothered with Part 2 since it wasn’t released in English. Seen some of those images on your site though!
Yeah, playing the game I had about 290 of the 300 cards, then the memory wiped out! (never change the Memory battery with a game inside! Doh!) Since then, I’ve collected about 280 of them, but nowadays I only play when I’m waiting on line, waiting for Paint to dry and stuff like that. The game is REALLY good at killing hours upon hours of time! Still think the Neo Geo Pocket kicks GBA’s Ass! It’s a shame not that many people supported it, but I blame that on SNK. Did you ever see one stinking commercial for it on T.V.? And people wonder why they went bankrupt…
