I was wondering where Ken really lives ‘now’. Is it Seattle or California? Why I ask? Well, it’s the fanfics, really.
Good question. Btw, that pic of Birdie & Tim is nasty. Thanks sano.
You’re welcome.
TiamatRoar - Just finished reading the SFZ Manga mini translation while looking on with the Manga. (Thanks again!) It does cover both volumes, although very briefly. Still did a very good job of telling us what happened! I now like this Manga even better than Ryu Final!
It was missing one thing, though. At the end of the second volume, there is a very short story of Dan wandering through the wrecked city of Tokyo with Blanka. He meets Sakura who kicks him in the neck. Guess he decides to “train” her.
On a Thread over in the Game discussion section, I transcribed the events of Masahiko Nakahira’s Ryu Final Manga. I can’t read Japanese at all, so I was just going by the artwork. In case anyone’s interested, their on these pages - the first is the Ryu Final Manga, the second is the Karin story that also appeared in Ryu Final.

Oh, the Ryu Final description is the first post on that page, and the Karin description is the last post on that second link.
I am baffled about the true name of Bison’s (psycho power guy) organization. Shadowloo, Shadaloo, or Shadowlaw??? The Plot Canon FAQ did not present a true answer.
I really think that it is Shadowloo. Shadowlaw sure makes sense, but it is very unlikely. (heard it mentioned in a noncanon animated series) Shadaloo is the one most recognized, but if you take a close look at the noncanon BS. (pun intended) games, you will see that Dark Chun-Li and Charlie are called as Shadowlady and Shadow, respectively. if Bison’s organization is Shadaloo, then they should be called Shadalady and Shada. (ewww…)
Then again, BS. (pun again) games aren’t canon, anyway. And Capcom of America calls it Shadaloo. But it seems to me that Capcom of USA are a bunch of morons who butcher anything from translations to fighting styles to storylines!!!
Please, I want to know it. The question still isn’t answered amd I plan on it being updated.
Like IoriBaine, I too would like to know where Ken lives. Does anyone know?
Wait a second. In SFA2 for the SNES, all the characters have the correct names (Gouki, Nash) except for Sodom who was changed to Katana.
I think Ken lives in SF California.
Does anyone have a scanned picture of adult Sakura from the end of “Sakura Ganbaru”?
Does Gouken have any background as monk?
I’ve read from a few websites that Joe (from SF1) has a military background. I’ve also heard that he’s homeless and his fighting style is kickboxing. Is there any truth to any of those statements?
Where’s it stated that the man training/teaching young Chun-Li in that pic is Gen? If ya don’t know what I’m talkin’ 'bout, here’s a link to that pic:
Where does Sakura go to school?
Anyone?
That’s an easy one. She goes to “Tamagawa Minami High School”.
who’s that dude?
please?
I’ve never actually seen Hugo’s 3rd Strike ending, so I wouldn’t know. Sorry.
Golden Dragon - You’re in luck! I had scanned the image of older Sakura as she appeared in her “Sakura Ganbaru!” manga a while ago and sent it to other threaders! I sent the image to you earlier today.
HEY! nice, pic. Thanks a bunch, sano. The face doesn’t look different, but her body looks more muscular. She’s not as skinney and wirey.

Wasn’t Hugo’s TS ending when he gets everyone to join his wrestling organization (Huge Wrestling Alliance - or something like that). Then it shows every Third Strike character wearing pink shirts since they are now part of Hugo’s group. I have to see it again cause I don’t remember the person you’re talking about.
In Hugo’s 2nd Impact ending, he gets a new tag team partner and they mention Biff and Gunloc (Hyper Cannon) as well as Haggar and Black Widow. I don’t remember if they show them though.
Golden Dragon - No problem.
If Ken lives in California, does he live in the city of San Francisco? At least in SF2 Revival, you can see what I think is the Golden Gate Bridge? Of course, I think this background, Vega’s (the dictator) background and Guile’s background have been swapped for the GBA since it’s easier to animate them on this small console over hordes of cheering people. But I think we can see the Golden Gate Bridge in one of Ken’s SF3 backgrounds. Not that they mean much, because in Third Strike his background is New York and he probably doesn’t live their. More like Capcom just wanted to create one stage that slightly varies for the U.S., like Ken and Alex’s Stage. Storyline wise that works well, since Ryu fights Ken and Alex in Third Strike - it’s easier to think that Ryu fights them in the same State at different times.
I think it can be agreed that he lives in California, but where?
On a separate subject, where the hell is everyone?
And I dunno why I’m sayin’ this, but I shutter to imagine what the Andore WOMEN look like.
Being rich Ken probably has multiple homes in the US.
Kens SF3:3S stage looks similar to the final fight one level. Since Kens stage is in New York, does that mean Metro city is in New york too?
