By the way I thought about Shinkiro and why all his characters (or always a few of his characters) look exactly the same (ie Guile and Gouki in CFJ). Well you sano (right?) said that he uses Poser. Now the latest version of Poser has this special ability to depict 3D graphics as kind of sell shaded comics and I think all he does is pick one of the models, postiiont it and then draw it from the screen or just copy paste the image and draw him/her some clothes. That’s why they all look the same, he only has a few models (in CVS1 it was even worse).

Being an SFA3 major, perhaps I can be of some use here. Some of the intros are 1p vs 2p, and some are 1/2p vs CPU only. The latter are Noted below with “**”:
About the Vega poses: those are from CvS/2, so they would be new to Alpha 3 if they’re in Double Upper (unless maybe they were in the GBA version). Honda vs Sodom had a special intro in the A3 beta, I think…? I’m pretty sure it wasn’t in the final version or the console versions, unless it appears randomly. Sakura has a special intro vs Dee Jay, btw…nothing special, she just scratches her head. I don’t think Sakura had a special intro vs Ryu in the other versions of A3 either (but you’d think she would, right?), so if there’s one now, that’d also be new.
For special win poses, you might wanna see if Birdie vs Eagle gives a pre-fight intro, and see if Birdie still has his middle finger win pose (taken out of the U.S. versions of SFA3)…hold either Forward or Roundhouse after you win a round, I forget. I think it was Roundhouse.

E.Honda vs. Sodom I tried already, (unless this is Sodom throwing rice I don’t see anything special here). Ditto for Sakura vs. Ryu. She runs as if she’s late , no bowing. Don’t think these are character specific intros. Will try in reverse order. As for Maki I checked all of the FF characters using Maki and only got the one. I’ll check again, but only on Free Battle. I’ll try Birdie’s win pose like two times and that will be it.
Don’t ask me about Final Vega(Cape) since I haven’t unlocked him and won’t for a while.
Balrog(Ninja) doesn’t throw a flower, one comes down and he cuts it up. He did this with the females I tried it out with but not the males. Will look more into it.
If these are “random,” well, I’m not gonna go nuts looking for them when I can be playing the actual game. Try Gamefaqs…

I’ve always considered Yun’s appearance in the Alpha games to actually be Lee only Capcom didn’t bother to create a new sprite. As unlikely as it is, if the Alpha series were to continue, Yun should be replaced by Lee but plays the same way.
Yes, it does seem like Ingrid is a forced inclusion in the storyline but I would like her story to develop and more of her background explored. Before, I have always considered Ingrid to be a sun goddess in the disguise as a young girl. I would have had her gone to Tamagawa High too.

Yeah, it was me. What you say makes sense about him using poser, though unless Shinkiro himself says that’s the case it’s hard to prove beyond a shadow of doubt IMHO. He said he uses Poser for light and shadow and that’s all we know. You might be right though.

Dear lord I have a life outside of gaming ya know. If they worked in SFA3 console version they work here, it’s a port! Don’t ask me to check Ryu and Ken for christ’s sake, you know that works(and I saw it already if it helps you sleep at night) because it worked in the console version lol! Why be you ask me for Blanka/Ingrid when I said I already saw it? Why be you ask me about Final Vega when I said not to? Please half this list. I did have time to check two -
Ryu and Sakura - Does not work. I tried it both ways, Sakura and Ryu and Ryu and Sakura. Does not work.
Yun and Chun-Li - Does not work. I tried it both ways, Chun-Li and Yun and Yun and Chun-Li. Does not work.
Here’s your confusion. Ryu and Sakura’s intro in CFE happens between Sakura and Ryu’s older sprite, not his younger one. Ditto for Yun and Chun-Li(older Chun-Li sprite) so it wouldn’t/shouldn’t work here. Doesn’t work on Xism(SF2 outfit) Chun-Li either.
Gotta run…

I just browsed Eternal Challenge again and I noticed something that I didn’t see before. It says Ken didn’t marry Eliza until he had a decisive victory against Ryu. This must have been in SF2.
So, what was Ryu’s excuse that time?
If memory serves we brought it up and it was concluded that it was still referring to Ken’s victory in SFZ2. Vasili10, what does the Japanese version of SF Eternal say? It’s that box at the end of the character’s endings where it says where Ryu, Ken and Chun-Li left off I think.
