Warriors Fate: Street Fighter story thread, revived

My advise, read the whole thread, it’s worth the time and you will have a lot of questions answered.

I got it.

I saw the topic yesterday … [sigh]

there was a post in this thread [one of the pages 30-45]

Someone said there was a topic somewhere in this website that
explained what was SF truth/cannon.

And gathered up all the SF rumors and lies. EX: Shen Long

How long ago was this topic deleated? I think timat said this.
But I read this thread so much yesterday that it’s all one big blur. :pleased:
If any one is bored I have a couple of questions here…
:nunchuck: :nunchuck: :nunchuck: :nunchuck: :nunchuck:

Poison

Update bump!

Is Poison the “girl” that follows Hugo around?
Mainly the girl seen here

Uh here
http://www.vgmuseum.com/end/arcade/a/sfasodo.htm
and

:wow: She/ he / it is really hot too…
:crybaby:

So why do they call Cannon “cannon” ? Is it japanese or something like otaku? [I know the basic idea of what cannon means, I’m just thinking too much]

Actually, Rose isn’t anywhere in Guy’s SFA3 storyline when you play as him. In fact, that was probably one of the most pointless storylines you could get for playing as a char in SFA3, IMHO. …at any rate, moving along, I’m pretty sure that Guy specifically says (in the American butchered translation version, mind you) that Rose’s wounds didn’t look fatal but something else seemed wrong. Of course, one could then argue that Rose died not of physical wounds but of some strange spiritual soul wound that Bison inflicted on her, but… IMHO that would only be slightly less ridiculous than the whole body switching thing, anyways (and tie into what Bison was jabbering about a lot less, too)

Ok, old lurker here.

Sorry If you have posted this lately, it’s about a new SF tabletop rpg made by Living Room Games:
http://capcom.lrgames.com/
It even was on the SFAC instruction booklet

Here’s the Demo.
And the developers forum.

Check out Ryu style in that demo sheet. sweet!

And damn me not having broadband for some months now, I have yet to read the last 50+ pages.

Saw the drawing in the SF Eternal Challenge book but I newer realized there were that many cameos in the background. Yeah, it would be great if everyone came out to see Ryu defeating Sagat! And I’ll get yelled at for pointing this out, but Chun-Li’s cheering the loudest in that drawing! Hooray!

Special thanks to Shingo the One AKA Snkneoeoshingo once again. More info on Namco x Capcom!

Yes that’s Poison Kiss.

They call canon “canon,” or rather “kijun.” :karate:

You had other questions you said above this post?

thanks …
art work pretty average …( suck in my opinion )
gameplay , kinda fun tee hee …

i’ll use some of the pic for my avatar !

edit : done …

Yeah I don’t know if anyone knows what I 'm talking about though.
Thanks for clearing up which final fight character poison was.
the question was is the thread that talks about sheng long and other sf reject rumors still around? I think Tiamatroar made it but I’m not sure.

The original thread was deleted when the entire Shoryuken forums got wiped, alas. Although… I’m pretty sure all of that made it into the plot guide, anyways, at least.

You’re welcome. I do know that Gamespot’s Street Fighter History page is still around, and it talks about rumors and games that never were to be such as Sheng Long and Street Fighter Kids amongst plenty of other info. That’s also where I read that Gouki killed Gouken in a waterfall setting, but no idea where the contributors got that. Unfortunately they take all the English dialogues as canon so problem there.

Gamespot’s SF History Page gives Special thx to:

Capcom
The EGM Staff
Expert Gamer
The Official Unofficial Street Fighter Website
the SF Movie videogame FAQ
Dominion’s Street Fighter page
Gouki’s Page of Whatever
Ira Humphrey
Yuri Bender

hey guys can anyone translate that text on the pic. of gfdata.com??

Provide me a link, ryu_5141, and I’ll give it a whirl.

I like these

Some ingame graphics really do suck though.

Just checked Yahoo Auctions for SF stuff and I found this little Sakura figure. I don’t collect SF figures but I’d like to have one of these because I think they are great as models to draw. Any of you guys know if I can get this kind of figures (not necessarily SF related) in the US or Europe?
Thanks!
EDIT: found some, sorry

Different question, what’s a “Jigsaw Puzzle” that’s what some pieces of art are called in Eternal Challenge. Thanks.

Here are the Gamest pre-mook accounts for Dhalsim & Blanka. I couldn’t find what “jipan” (for Blanka) is, might’ve been a typo or something; if anyone has any ideas please speak. Thanks and enjoy.

Dhalsim from Gamest SF2

SFII’s strange character and speaking of the foremost to recall is probably Dhalsim.
Uncanny paint, a repulsive skull necklace, unusually huge bracelets, and also flax (?) trunks (?). Now an exceeding expert of yoga which is said to hold a good feeling, and performing hallucinations to their limits.
For his sake as a young child, the wounds of people were taken in sparingly and not separated from the specially necessary evil within which was to be admonished from struggling against. An unreasonable argument. For the sake of children why likely struggle that which is necessary? That boundary of meaninglessness may possibly be the rationale boundary for Dhalsim.
As for his sure killing moves, scorching the separated opponents, the ashes left behind “yoga fire,” and approached likely by his wife (?) and by his child, everything wrapped in raging flames is the "yoga flame."
Even not doing these, his limbs can freely extend. An endlessly unfair guy. However, with his extended limb assault hits are exceptionally anguishing facial expressions also.
The rest in midair are the sudden angled-degree direction-changing “drill attack” a queer becoming move he uses, a circumferencing being grasping uncanningly what no one else can approach.
That’s the open Buddhist enlightened clown Dhalsim.

Blanka from Gamest SF2

The one (wolf boy) raised by wolves exists, in the Brazilian jungle as Blanka (alias) grown up with nature as his opponent. But, he doesn’t understand if the jungle had borne him. At the time as an infant when the airplane’s at its point to pull down, that airplane crashes. He has a sad past of lifelong separation from his parents. Why, an infant boy alone in a dropping plane is a mystery…
With him growing in the jungle, his ordinary human examples exceeded as movement speed. Claws became lengthened as to be able to mix into intense attacks. It’s a sure thing that for his sake he was native-born in the jungle. A jipan of filth is what the story tells. From the time as a child he doesn’t understand how his trousers become so big. It’s theory that in the jungle he takes in sentences brought about from quite ordinary people.
Having learned from his opponent Mother Nature, the shocks from electric eels known as “electric thunder” and, the human bullet attack “rolling attack.” However the rolling attack is a self-abandoning attack. Contrary to receiving attacks double the damage it’s a double-edged sword. Besides those techniques are said to be moves not of Mother Nature’s power but likely taken from what can be said to be fighting style wonders.
In conclusion, even now he stiffens at migrating airplanes. Does he probably not like the wandering journeys?

Next time Honda & Zangief, and a little something extra for art.

aerialgroove: Most likely the “jigsaw puzzle” pics are illustrations that were originally the complete picture you saw when completing puzzles made up of anywhere from 100 to 1000 pieces or more.

Thanks and keep reading minna san!

Sorry I haven’t checked out both sites but is
http://orochi.com/?page=sffaq
yours? Or did you help make it?
I read some of…
http://kattuggla.oru.se/dmd01/dm0103/test/faqs/SFplotguide40.txt
and it’s really good.I added it to my favorites list
I’m just brushing up on my SF plot guides.
Are both guides basiclly the same thing?
I read how hard you worked on that guide though and I’m amazed on how good it is. Thanks for a awsome guide.

Both guides are different updates of the same guide by Tiamat. The one on orochi.com is the most recent, same as can be found on gamefaqs.
