How Rolento knows Cody? I dunno. I’m thinking that a few (but not all) of the Mad Gear members knew Cody and Guy and had run-ins with them before Final Fight happened and Mad Gear got smacked down for good or so. At least, Damned knew Cody from before, but Edi. E didn’t, judging by the dialogue. Cody’s dialogue with Rolento could go either way, though. Alpha Cody’s dialogue shows that he recognizes Sodom, though he doesn’t seem to recall ever fighting Sodom in Final Fight (we all know that Guy did. That one’s irrefutable at least), so it seems that Cody knew Sodom before Final Fight One occurred (regular Cody’s dialogue with Sodom could go either way, I think).

Come to think of it, Alpha Guy’s dialogue with Edi. E indicate that maybe he was on the West Side accompanying Cody, too.

At any rate, you have to remember that in the end, Father Andore, Uncle Andore, and Grandpa Andore are NOT bosses. They are only mid-bosses, and it takes at least TWO of them to make up the mid-boss battle at that. If they were so powerful, then wouldn’t they be bosses as well as not need to fight as a duo (or trio if Grandpa Andore is there)? Therefore, the end result is that if you were to tier them as Hugo’s SF3 level, then you’d have to up all the Final Fight bosses to tier 3 because they are definately tougher than simple mid-bosses. Then after you do that, Cody and Guy would jump up to tier 2, hehehe…

Course… I do think Cody and Guy do deserve to be somewhere up there, anyways, but if you continued by the logic of father and uncle Andore being in tier four, then you’d have to lump E. Honda up to tier two, because he beat Sodom who’s a boss and thus higher than simple mid-bosses, and now we’re just getting exceedingly crazy.

Oh, and in Final Fight 2, Grandpa Andore (who’s along the same lines as Uncle Andore and Father Andore) is only a generic enemy, albeit a pretty rare one and the most powerful one.

Abigail could probably wipe the floor with all three of the elder Andores at the same time. Well, gameplay-wise, he sure as heck could.

I still don’t think Hugo deserves to be in Tier 4 just for withstanding a shin shoryuken, myself. Since that makes him higher than Alex, which is just… weird. But eh, not like there’s much else to compare him to so there isn’t much grounds to start an argument on, anyways.

No one ever takes the intro with Eagle or that Lilith ending as hard proof, sadly. It’s too… circumstantial. Which is why I’m glad for this win quote The Lilith ending is already mentioned there, though. Forgot to mention the Eagle one now that I think about it…

Is there any pictures Of the Andore family? I played Final Fight one for the GBA and I don’t remember [ thanks Capcom Usa],
them being called grandpa, uncle, and father.

Who’s Titanic Tim and what does he have to do with Birdie? Why was he almost made a character in the Alpha games? Which game is he from?

Oh yeah, one last question. Why does poison travel with hugo everywhere. I’m not against people being gay. I was just wondering if there’s a story behind it is all. I also don’t know the story behind necro and the little girl. :shake:

I know he does a crazy dance sequence when you clock the game. Dunno if it’s the thriller dance or not.

Thanks for answering my questions. In the udon comic what turned Cammy good? Was it the sf back up story in issue 5. Where vega turned the knob and looked like he did something bad?
Or was it only Rose in issue 6 that had anything to do with it?

It was suppose to come out late Feburary. All the bookstores in NY are having a hard time odering it for me.

So Dhalsim is a buddhist. I thought the hypnotize thing came from SFIIAM but I guess they took it from Capcom’s official Dhalsim story.
Blanka being brought up by wolves? Are there even wolves in the jungle? Maybe the whole plane thing wasn’t an invention of Capcom USA.

Well I think Tiamat said that Capcom USA made it up and then later Capcom Japan followed and used it too. Or at least he guessed that or something.

Hey guys, remember when the US 15th A guide came out and one of you (I think it was vasili10) said that there were three pics not seen before, Blanka, Balrog(Spain) and Ken? They were full body pics and there were no other characters drawn that way. Very thick lines and very frontal. Well I found all of them but unfortunately not complete, but only the heads, in All About Capcom VS Fighting or what the heck the official name is, right at the beginning where it shows the different control tables of the arcades, showing you how to use the stick and such, there are even more pics that are not shown in Capcom Design Works, Capcom Illustrations/Early Days, the 15th A guide or Eternal Challenge. Also the ones you recently posted that you classified as drama CD art. If you know where I can get full body versions of any of them let me know, I’m always looking for rare artwork especially old one! Thanks!

Hmm. I suppose I should contribute something relevant while I’m here. “Lives of SF” has added Balrog(boxer) to the collection of character bios!

As a young boy, he spent most of his time fighting. He was a horrible student in school and his future didn’t show much promise. However, he showed a lot of interest in boxing. Coming from a poor home/neighborhood, Balrog had always desired to be very wealthy. Through boxing, all that could be obtained with nothing but his own 2 fists. With nothing but confidence in himself and the power of his fists, Bison set out to become rich and famous. Balrog had to train/teach himself in boxing because he couldn’t afford to join a boxing gym and he had never received any formal training from a coach. This is why is self-taught style doesn’t have much technique. It’s mostly street brawling and brute strength. He didn’t even know the basics of boxing. All he knew was that using the legs/feet in an offensive manner wasn’t allowed.

He does it through out the ending credits, but he repeats the same moves over and over again. The music sounds like really really fake hip hop like you’d hear on an 80s cartoon or something and envolves record scrathcing. Oh, and to get this ending, you have to beat the game without continuing.

Zombie Belger can throw his head at you, if it explodes he can grow back a new head! Zombie Belger is so bad he’s hilarious!

Balrog didn’t make a lot of money as a professional boxer and moved to Las Vegas after he was banned from the professional ring.
He didn’t get rich until he started working for Shadaloo.
His only goals in life are to defeat M. Bison, take over Shadaloo, get more money, and obtain the title of ‘Strongest Fighter in the World’.

A bit late this week but here are some more scans. This is stuff from the SF2 Animated Movie.

Here’s a picture I’ve yet to see on the Net. In the book called “The Magnificent World of Chun-Li” which focuses on Chun-Li in the SF2 Animated Movie, here’s a two page spread of Chun-Li fighting Cammy drawn in the SF2 Animated Movie style.

These are from the books called “The Complete Works of Street Fighter II Movie” and “Street Fighter II The Movie Perfect Album.” Apparently there’s a Shadowloo lady that was cut out of the SF2 Animated Movie. Here’s her character art and sketches of the scene that never made it into the film.

The manga is really nice too. With what little knowledge of necro’s history I have, I kind of pictured his situation like that.

Even though I can’t really understand Necro’s story in the doujin since I can’t read Japanese, the comic gives me a warm fuzzy feeling whenever I look at it, at least Necro and Effie are together. And I’m surprised I like it so much since it envolves no fighting whatsowever and I’m a fighting junkie…

As for the HK comic book requests, I think I overdid it with the HK stuff, it’s pretty darn whacky. I only have two issues of the SF3 Third Strike comic. What would you like to see from the SF3 NG Hong Kong comic… how about SF character deaths as mentioned in that post, plus SF EX characters? Anyway, for today I have a surprise and before that I have another request, so give my a few weeks or so.
