Yeah, I didn’t think there was. I remember Ryu falling into a lake of some sort after upercarting Sagat. This was around issue 5 (just past half way point).
Anyone find what else it could be? Clearly not something of my own creation (which I was slightly worried about) lol

I have just been updating my website and decided to start with writing a biography for Adon (Click Here).
I then got thinking. It is clear that Adon knows Akuma from before Street Fighter Alpha 2 but how? I can’t think of any place that the 2 would cross paths. Any ideas?

I don’t think they’d met…there are a couple people who know about Akuma, I guess he’s sort of a legend.
The sentance suggests something more personal. If not, if would have been ‘I know OF him’ rather than ‘I know him’. I was expecting the next line to be ‘We’re buds’ :lol:
Maybe we should consider the possiblity that Adon saw Akuma fight someone. Is there anywhere this could fit with the current information we have?
Oh, and I have updated Mike’s bio on my website as well as Adon, if anyone is interested. It is fairly long though.

The English SFA2 is not quite the same as the Japanese SFZ2. In Zero 2, after hearing Gouki’s description, Adon says:
“Hmph…if I know him. A guy who uses the same moves as Ryu, the man who defeated Sagat.”
Adon doesn’t know Gouki from before Zero 2, but rather he thinks “oh perfect, another one using the same fighting style, from the same school. Another one trying to disgrace Muay Thai.” The last we hear of Adon in Zero 3, he still doesn’t know Gouki’s name, but he has learned about the existence of satsui no hadou and that Gouki has the kanji “Ten” on his back. (He refers to Gouki in his ending as the “Ten” guy.)
Pardon me, but is Adon dead?? that sure is a bummer…
:tup: good idea. with the right marketing i think it could be done. You could even show the veteran's in the opening sequence and have some of the veterans as mid bosses.Adon’s most likely not dead.

Says who? Isn’t it hard to say? None of the Alphas imply whether he is or isn’t.
They don’t. However, there hasn’t been word of a new Muay Thai successor after Adon, and even if Adon did meet up with Gouki after Zero 3, I’m leaning toward he just got swatted away like a fly. Gouki wouldn’t take him seriously since Adon’s looking for Gouki, not vice versa.
So, what? You don’t think Gouki would’ve killed Adon if Adon had challenged him?
Possibly. I’m not saying it’s beyond Gouki to kill him if challenged, I just agree with the plot guide’s reasoning. That’s why I said “most likely” and not “definitely.” The truth of course is still up in the air as far as we know.

The Adon-being-dead thing comes from SFA2. SFA2 flows into SF2 much easier than A3 does, and since Adon was in A2 and not in the next game in the timeline (which logically would have been SF2), people assumed he was dead. What was weird is that they assumed it was Sagat who killed him…
That would certianly make her ending make much more sense, as it would simply be a more confusing version of her A1 ending.
I was told about this on another forum. Seems some people have trouble opening the new Namco x Capcom link but I think it depends on what server you use. Anyway, if you can’t open it, you can type it out to view.

Is it just me or do the the graphics look… I dunno, Namco X Capcom feels more like a GBA game.
With over 200 playable characters, 100 from Capcom and 100 from Namco, something’s gotta take a hit. Can’t have it all.
Ugh I’ve read uo to page 45. I think my brain is going to explode. Alot of slam master, guy dying, and Q apperaing in sf2 and other info are ozzing through my ears. Still searching for those alpha pics. Since I’m still in the early part I most of the links don’t work [eek]
