Mike Haggar being in it should be a dead giveaway that it’s a Capcom game
Then how would you explain Ryu being able to do CCs in the Alpha series and not in SF3? What about the loss of mimicking shadows inflicting more damage in CvS2? Or how about the fact that CCs can only be done in a certain “ism/groove” while they’re non-existant in the others?
And wouldn’t that make EVERY SF character focused enough to use ki that way, despite how they haven’t all trained as much as Ryu with chi-manipulation, if at all?
Its just fan fiction. I don’t think that people are THAT worried about the minor details. If they were, they wouldn’t read it.
cuz i don’t even know who is mike haggar
You DON’T know who Mike Haggar is!?
sacrilege!
he appears in some of the older capcom wrestling games, as well as the final fight series. he is a professional wrestler turned mayor. he vowed to clean up the crime in metro city, and did that with the help of guy & cody in FF1. i think he was was in FF2 as well
he is also a rival of zangief; 'gief stole the spinning lariat from haggar, and haggar stole the SPD from 'gief
Mike Haggar is only like, the heart and soul of the entire Final Fight series.
i think you guys are taking this stuff too seriously. There doesn’t have to be storyline backing for eveything that appears in the game. Why the hell is there even a bonus stage?
Custom Combos are merely the most useless feature of the SFA2 engine and nothing more.
tsj76:
Bison would revert to Championship mode and make ryu force-block the psycho crusher 23498163946824 times.
Assuming that fireball parrying does exist in the actual SF continuity…
Does that work in the same principle as Zangief’s flashy-hand fireball intercept move (whatever that is)?
You, know his fist is charging chi powerul enough to cancel an incoming chi (fireball).
By the way, it’s confirmed.
Amy owns Datta for free.
:lol::lol::lol:
I’m not taking any of it seriously. I only thought tsj76 was trying to provide a theory behind it, which would explain my last post.
I’d be surprised myself though if Capcom gave an explanation behind parrying and CCs outside of gameplay.
sorry guuys:(
thanks for the info but i didn’t know that they both stole technique
hey man i didn’t know that Guile has a daughter and dhalsim had a boy
who is the wife of guile and whose for dhalsim?
Why do you say that Ken and Ryu use the karate ansatsuken? You said that their karate ansatsuken do not has the killing part of the style, so the name ansatsuken does not make sense anymore…
Guile’s family:
Wife: Jane (Julia in the Japanese version)
Daughter: Amy (Chris in the Japanese version)
Dog: Safu
Dhalsim’s family
Wife: I don’t know
Son: Datta
Dhalsim’s wife’s name is Sally. And Guile’s dog’s name in Japan is Sabu.
I think ‘non-lethal’ part of their style refers to how they channel Ki which is different from True Ansatsuken.
Hmm, I’ve been thinking about the ‘tree’ of the fighter’s styles.
Example:
Goutetsu
Gouki
Gouken
Gouken
Ken
Ryu
Ken
Sean
Ryu
Sakura
(Unknown Master)
Gen
Gen
Chunli, Yun & Yang.
How’s that?
Who’s that guy in dhalsims stage in alpha 3 that levatates, is he dhalsims student?
Yeah, and then Ryu would slam the controller down and run out the room cursing and crying. LOL
Grenade Falcon: You asked how could it be made to work, explained in a fan fiction. And I gave you an example. But if you’re asking how it works in the game. I venture to say that it’s just a different method of channeling ki. I’ll use A3 as an example.
X-Ism, a person chooses one move, their personal favorite or whatever, and channels all their ki into that one manuever, causing it to do a large amount of damage, but that’s the only one they have at their disposal.
A-Ism, a person allocates their ki to several different moves. Being that it is split up and 2 or 3 different manuevers, no one move will be as strong as an X-Ism manuever.
V-Ism, a person learns how to manipulate thier ki in order to perform multiple attacks quickly. Without the use, or very limited use, of super moves.
thanks
