Warriors Fate: Street Fighter story thread, revived

The characters can probably do something similar to CC’s since CC is yet another use of Ki. It’s my guess they just use the ki burst to string together moves and it doesn’t work on TOUGH oppenents (which is why we don’t see CC’s being used in an official tournament).

Since we’re discussing Ki, Going by the size of their respective Super Arts, Gouki and Oro are obvious ki masters but what about Ibuki? She has a Super art where she creates a huge ball of ki as well?

My thinking on Chunli is she senses that certain fighters have 'dark aura’s about them or ‘dark ki’. And she reacts with hostility towards them. Evil Ryu, a ‘what if’ character that doesn’t exist, gets no reaction because he doesn’t exist. If he did, Chunli would likely react towards him.

This is assuming She even KNOWS Ryu (I’m STILL confused about that one).

A final thought on the Final Fight revenge endings. I understand Belger as a zombie was more of an in-joke by Capcom referring to RE. But, couldn’t it also be viewed as a warning? A zombie Belger would signify something isn’t ‘right’ in the world and that would trigger Guy to again seek out what’s wrong or unatural in the world?

I planned on making a separate thread about this in the general section, but I thought that maybe more people here can help me.

Could anyone please translate these various scanned manga pics to English?

Please!

looks like Guile is dreaming about something.

Regarding Makoto and Shun, to my knowledge, they weren’t based off each other. Makoto was actually supposed to be Ryu’s younger sister but that got changed very, very early in the development.

Well now THAT’S a shocker right there.

…well, now, that was certainly interesting

But… it does make sense, when I think about it. Since the girl who is Ryu’s sister would probably look like the guy who’s Ryu’s brother at such a young more androgynous age…

Hmm… guess that partially explains why her mid-boss is Ryu in Third Strike, then. Actually a pity, though. Lord knows that Makoto could have used more story background and development and her being Ryu’s sister would have given her some of it.

It says that the link is down or something like that

As always when you’re dealing with GeoCities, right click then go to properties. Then cut and paste to the address bar.

Too bad they didn’t go with Makoto as Ryu’s sister. But then, it would kind of hard to explain how Makoto was born in the first place if Ryu was an orphan. Obviously, his parents would have to be dead.

Hey Saiki, could you please translate the manga pic I posted? Please.

That manga is just a bunch of 4-koma. Most likely the stuff within it is just all jokes, since that’s the whole point of most 4-koma manga.

There isn’t a lot of info on Ryu’s parents other than the fact that they brought him to Gouken’s dojo. If Capcom decided to have Makoto be Ryu’s sister, then neither of them probably would’ve have known each other till Third Strike, due to them being seperated.

And yeah, I’d have liked to see that revealed in the games too. It’s quite a shame. Makoto and Ryu have so much in common, and they’re both desperate for some kind of development that’d spark interest. They’d make a great team too. Maybe that way, all those anti-Ryu trolls on the net would shut the hell up about Ryu being a stale character.

I doubt that would shut them up.

They’d just start complaining about how boring BOTH of them are.

Actually, it is workable. Watch:
…enraged, Ryu focused his ki and began attacking Bison. The others watched in amazement as Ryu’s shadows executed his body’s every move, inflicting even more crippling damage on Bison…

???

Yo, SAIKI
I noticed when you put down the Muscle Bomber 1 Character Stats, you listed everyone’s age except for Haggar’s. How old was he during Muscle Bomber 1?

What is Muscle Bomber 1?Is it like double dragon or what?

i think its a wrestling game. wasn’t DD a side-scroller like final fight?

Yeah Muscle Bomber’s a wrestling game, with a Capcom Twist. Each wrestler has their own set of moves and you have to do button motions (i.e. street fighter) to execute them. Of course, it has traditional wrestling game elements as well, such as slams, being able to use chairs, off the top turnbuckle attacks, etc. Muscle Bomber 2 was a wrestling game as well, but it was quite different from the original. Personally, I liked the original better.

I believe Muscle Bomber 2 was on a flat field (as oppposed to being able to move up and down) and more like a regular fighting game than a wrestling game. Because we all know that there weren’t enough half assed fighting games, already!

I have Muscle Bomber 1 on my Super Nintendo. Lots of fun^^ Two player co-op and you could even play with four players if you had the four player controller adapter. Capcom should make a Saturday Night Slammasters/Muscle Bomber 3 with gameplay like the original (though maybe refined a bit, of course. There’s always room for refinement). It could have all the Muscle Bomber characters and they could also throw in Birdie, R. Mika, Zangief, and Hugo. And heck, maybe even Alex for kicks. :stuck_out_tongue:

Have it take place after Final Fight 3 or so, if they want (Haggar taking up wrestling again after losing the Mayorship because he has nothing else to do).

oh I think I know what you’re talking about I think they have it on ultracade is it possible?it’s a capcom game?
