Warriors Fate: Street Fighter story thread, revived

Cool. You should have all three scans from the US SF AC Strategy Guide by now.

I think I know what the third pic will look like, let’s see…

EDIT:
No, the Blanka pic was the only one I knew. Thanks a lot!

I’ve heard from a couple websites that Zangief opened a wrestling school for kids. I was wondering where that came from. Is it in AAC or something?
Did Zangief enter the SF2 tournament at Gorbachev’s request??

Nope, can’t find official evidence for either of those. And it’s the President (Daitoryo) not Gorbachev (no matter how similar they look).

U can’t? Alright. Nevermind, then. Thanks.

Oh yeah. My bad.

Here’s the answer to #8 in HnN:

The upper screen’s fuselage is that of the American air force’s main strength fighter plane, the F-16 Fighting Falcon.
Hailing from the US marines, Guile street fought for the sake of curing his stormy mind, and occasionally it is said that the air force’s base comrades visited.
Perhaps within Guile’s post in the military, the crowd of soldiers boasted of his top-class ability, highly training the body to its limit, certainly a human weapon.
But, however an excelled soldier he was in modern warfare, the air force’s backing he gradually accepted to seize victories.
In densely covered jungles, seemingly endless scorching heated deserts, the times he was helplessly surrounded by the enemy, always their overhead gleaming iron birds were there.
In the middle of Guile’s own dangerous missions, how many times have the air force’s hand picks been ordered to help out?
The fuselage’s consolidation crew is right on target, for the purpose of safe successes day and night without fail, precisely on hand in the vacant spots, watching over the street fights with an odd brightness in their facial expressions.
Yet, the relaxation brought about for Guile, in conclusion it was the street-fight-anyway fighting style’s nature? Kind of sad.

Many many many thanks.

According to the plot guide, Noembelu’s actually the doll T. Hawk is looking for. If that’s the case, then why come Noembelu isn’t a playable character? She already has a sprite. Juli and Juni weren’t playable characters in the arcade version of SFA3. I don’t understand why Capcom didn’t make her a playable character along w/ Juli & Juni. Where did Saiki get that info, anyway? Did he hear it from one of his Capcom Japan buddies? I’m just curious. Thanx!

Here’s #10 in HnN. Golden Dragon, this account uses the term ā€œdark pro-wrestling,ā€ which is not really explained anywhere what that term exactly means, but is also used in AAC for him during SF2/SF2DT. One interpretation for the kanji for dark is also black-market, hence the earlier thought of ā€œillegalā€ you brought up. So perhaps Zangief was in illegal, or underground wrestling at one point. Sorry for the confusion and enjoy.

The mohican is not becoming for Russians. Why did Zangief willingly go for that mohican?
Zangief’s mohican top seems to be a secret from Zangief’s past. Let’s look into what Zangief’s past was.
Back when he was known in the world of wrestling as the Red Cyclone, enemies were formed above the mat, it seemed for Zangief. That surplus power left the ring.
However, Zangief couldn’t forget about fighting, the rage done on the dark pro-wrestling ring.
Here was how Zangief probably went for a mohican top. Strength in dark pro-wrestling excepting ā€œstanding outā€ was a necessity. Zangief simply saw large men. He went for a mohican top probably to become more noticeable.
Thereafter Zangief left dark pro-wrestling, and became a street fighter, but now for the mohican top, it seems that he is pleased with it.
A round of opponents cringed at the feared striking top, this is the mohican top’s influence.
A 2m+ large build and the entire body with innumerable wounds. And with it the mohican top. It’s enough to menace grappling opponents.

Juli and Juni were hidden but still playable in arcade SFZ3. Noembelu is a native American like T. Hawk, but he wasn’t in arcade SFZ3 until SFZ3 Upper came out.

AAC doesn’t say that ā€œJuliaā€ is supposed to be Noembelu, but it does say that ā€œJuliaā€ is supposed to be someone from the Thunderfoot tribe, and more logical than Juli would be Noembelu.

No problem, man. The illegal pro-wrestling thing had been mentioned in too many websites for it to be false. Thanks!

Haha. So Zangief got a mohawk in order stick out among the other wrestlers and to intimidate the other competitors? Interesting. I have more requests, but I’ll wait. Thanks for the millionth time, vasili10.

edit: I agree that Noembelu would be more logical than Noembelu. I’m just curious as to where Saiki heard that.

Ok, great. Gotta translate in others’ requests soon too. No problem.

Uhhhhhh?

lmao dude! I think I meant to say ā€œNoembelu would be more logical than Juliā€.

Speaking of Noembelu, wouldn’t it be wild if her original name was Rona? Manga artist Mami Itoh made a (unofficial of course) compilation called SSF2X Gaiden, which he tried to include all of SSF2X’s characters in significant and mostly serious plotlines. For T. Hawk’s story, he sketched a dying Arroyo and a little girl with T. Hawk called Rona, who might’ve been a partial inspiration for creating Noembelu.

Did she look like her?

Is there any place where I can find a description of the Cyberbots characters (in English)? I wonder who or what Devilotte’s friends are.

I might get to upload the original SFIIV intro video the next days, I hope it works, if not at least the mp3.

Rona has the same feather and same hairstyle as Noembelu as far as I can tell, but Rona’s no more than four or five years old while Noembelu’s a teenager so that probably won’t say much.

One Cyberbots faq in Gamefaqs says that Devilot’s companions are Dr. Stein (green guy, named the same in AAC) and St. Jigoku (in AAC he’s Jigoku Daishii which is literally the Great Teacher Hell).

Is it a fact that ALL the Dolls are 16? I read somewhere that their ages from teens to 20’s.

That’s correct. It’s the only thing AAC says for their ages; they’re in their teens. So I made a slight revision up above. Still, 16 is a nice round number for Cammy and hence the rest of them.

So it was never officially stated that they’re all 16? Interesting. Thanks.
