Warriors Fate: Street Fighter story thread, revived

Nope. never seen it. Is that one of those Manga Compilations that is mostly composed of gags and joke strips while some but very few of the stories are serious? At least that’s what it looks like. I have a few books like that for some games (going by memory, I have SFZ2, Darkstalkers, Rival Schools, Guilty Gear, CVS1) but not that one.

Yes, it’s mostly humorous. It’s not that good of a pic inside either, so I won’t bother unless someone screams out or something. The strip mentions a blonde girl so it might even refer to Ken because he has long hair, but the image also has a headband; oh well. Back to the somewhat more concrete stuff…

PS. Believe me, I’ll have everyone know when the day comes. I’ll put up in big letters: YOU-KNOW-WHO FINALLY SPOTTED!!

EEK!!! For real? My bad. I’ll shutup. I’m such a fag!!!
DUUUDE!!! THUNDER HAWK’S BIO/BACKSTORY!!! HOLLA BACK!!!

THUNDER HAWK

Date of Birth: 7-21-1959
Height: 7’7"
Weight: 357 lbs.
Blood type: O

After his homeland was taken from him by Shadowlaw, T. Hawk and his family were moved to Mexico. Now, he has vowed to regain the homeland and destroy Bison. Using his huge size and powerful Native American wrestling techniques, T. Hawk has advanced to the World Warrior tournament and has set his sights on destroying Bison.

Thanks vasili10. This is odd. I could be wrong, but it seems like Arroyo Hawk is mentioned in the Jap. version of T. Hawk’s SSF2 biography, but not in the american version. Capcom USA hadn’t mentioned Arroyo Hawk 'til SFA3. vasili10, could you please take a look at Thunder Hawk’s SSF2/SSF2T biography in AAC and see if it mentions Arroyo Hawk?? Many thanks.

T.Hawk’s blood type is 0, wow Capcom makes sence that’s new. He’s not a Zuni is he? Doesn’t look like one.

Should I scan all AAC bios and put them on my site? It would be a lot of work.

It’s up to you. I think we can rely on vasili10 if we need any translating of anything, so again, it’s up to you.

Here’s the answer to #7 from HnN:

The broomtop, the exposed Guile surprise concerning the explosive hairstyle, but what really is its significance?
The supposition is that while in the military, as the regulations stood, one’s satisfaction of an independent hairstyle could not be achieved. To liberate himself from the strict military living, that reaction was Guile thought no way he wasn’t going to do a wild different hairdo. As a hospitalized sick person he left the hospital at once, having gotten tired of some kind of eats strongly resembling burnt ones. Everyone went through the experience, who didn’t there?
This hairstyle was trouble for Guile, and the main little but disorderly tendency of the set was the hairbrush not releasing. With street fights won, it is said that he excitedly straightens out at least a scarce few of the set in his eyes.
Generally, to the extent of intense fights the hairdo doesn’t collapse. What spray does he use? Not one on the market, it is said from rumors that his favorite one to use is a special-order spray.

Arroyo Hawk was known by name during SSF2/SSF2X; AAC’s separate entry for him lists those two games for him, and the Fanbook confirms his name was known from its character relations chart. In short, Japan knew about Arroyo long before the USA did.

A Zuni is from a Pueblo tribe that lives in western New Mexico, which is a little further north than where T. Hawk should be, so he’s probably not a Zuni. Can’t find any evidence to say he is either.

A special Hairspray for Guile!

Just got my copy of SF AC! I’ll be putting in an All Nighter Playing it! IT’S LIKE XMAS FOR SANO TODAY!

Man, that HnN book is f’n awesome. I hope Tiamat is getting this. Thanks again, vasili10.

Uh-huh. That’s what I thought. I wonder why Capcom USA didn’t mention Arroyo during SSF2/SSF2X??
So it’s understood that M. Bison (cape) sent troops/forces to invade the Thunderfoot tribe’s reservation 'cuz he wanted set up a base there. My question is, did Shadaloo wipe out/destroy the tribe or did they just force the tribe to flee to Mexico??

No prob. :bgrin:

Wiped out almost entirely, AAC says 30 years before SSF2X their numbers greatly diminished. I thought also you gave me some stuff to translate for Arroyo a while ago, and it said he was a survivor after Shadoloo’s raid, only to be personally killed a short while later by Vega.

Truthfully, I’ve been checking this thread every 12 hours at least and recording everything to my ‘to be updated’ section. I just… don’t have much to say these days  …oi, looks like I’ll have to buckle down and spend another 3 hours on another update sometime soon :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for the info, vaisili10 ^^

Dou itashimashite. (You’re welcome.)

“I’m filled with the Rival Schools spirit!” Great stuff!

Tiamat
Understood. Things often get oretty quiet around here, so I kinda’ see what u mean when u say ya don’t have much to say. Still, It’s good to know that you still visit the thread.

Yeah, I did. I forgot 'bout that. Interesting. I guess CAPCOM USA felt that the concept of T. Hawk’s tribe being massacred was a little too violent.

He’s not a zuni. Zuni’s have bloodtype B, not that anybody cares. I got another artwork question, maybe vasili10 knows it. Why are there two full body collections for SSFII? They are both in Capcom Illustrations. Is one of them for SSFII (The New Challengers) and one for SSFII (Tournament Battle)? They are both by Bengus. Thanks!

Dunno. In Eternal all pieces of the two collections say SSF2, and the only Tournament Battle art noted as such is the pic showing like three of almost everyone in a triangle.

Sending in a request for #s 4, 9, and 24 when you should have the time.

edit: gotcha, thanks.

Ok TS, will do for 9 and 24. 4 I answered already; check a few pages back.

aerialgroove - I emailed you the first of the three scans I told you I was gonna send you. I’ll send the other two somewhere between today and tomorrow. You have Blanka, I still have to send Ken and Balrog(Ninja). They are big files so you may have to make room in your inbox.

Thanks man! They are great. I think I’ve seen that Blanka pic a few years ago but I could be wrong.
