Yes we would.
KOF faq for Kao Megura
I definitely would love to see an in-game translation faq for the both of them, especially for The King Of Fighters.Because Iām really pissed that no one has done such a faq for the latest KOF which is 2k3 not the new one that just came out,and the only one that usually does this sadly is no longer with us anymore. So I suggest that when you guys have the time to do this and to prepare for KOF 2004 at the same time,we shall do this solely to honour him, because he has given us so much, and I believe it is now time we give something back.I hope that you guys, mainly Sano,Golden Dragon,Saiki,Aerialgroove,Vasili10 and/or any other contributor will take notice and bring this simple request to reality in his memory.Looking forward to your response.Catch you later.
Maybe my eyes are playing tricks, but if so theyāre doing it with the conviction of a heated Al Pacino. The elusive look-alike is on the far right hand side of the screen, eating something inside a small house, completely oblivious to the battle outside.
Yeah, thatās the one I was looking at also. He eats what looks like a red pepper or something, then stops and looks outside briefly before repeating the cycle. When he turns, I think his beard looks a little too thin for Gen. But his side view makes you stop for a double take. Iām pretty sure though that itās the same case with an Adon look-alike we brought up awhile ago in I believe Elenaās SI stage.
KOF faq for Kao Megura
Well, I donāt have sourcebooks for KOF (tough enough to keep up with SF), but I can always do my best to honor translation requests if the source is provided to me. I have done this in the past with SFEX3 and CFJ, so if people come across online stuff thatād be too recent to be published in a AA book, I can help. Since this is the SF thread though, if you feel a request is out of place, you can always PM me with it.
KOF faq for Kao Megura
Kao Magura was a good guy. May he rest in peace.
I have the KOF 2003 Arcadia book, if you need scans of anything (but be specific as possible) let me know.
As for the old man in Chun-Liās stage, EGM Magazine said a LOOOONG time ago that the same old man returned in SF3NG that was in her SF2 Background. (Donāt know about Third Strike.) Heās in the Hong Kong Stage in one of the crowd stages and is arguing with a woman who is either his wife or his caretaker and is trying to drag him home. With no word on the old man in AAC, I donāt know if we should take EGMās word for it, but he looks the same at least, or similar enough.
If it is the same old guy, Iām willing to bet heās the same old guy in Chun-Liās SFZ3 background training all of those students.
I always suspected he was the same old guy in SF2V that taught Ryu the Hadouken, he just aged a little more, but itās just one of my insane observations thatās most definitly wrong since SF2V is beyond unofficial and there is NO WAY IN HELL to confirm this without him being in AACā¦
On reflection I think youāre right. Itās starting to look less and less likely the more I look at him, though the similarity is stupidly striking. Iām satisfied and disappointed at the same time. I rather like Gen, but Iām a fan of continuity and thereās no way he should be alive in SF3. Thanks for your input, mate.
For anyone whoās confident that Capcom will continue with 2D fighters, despite that one guy leaving and starting a new company, throw in your say here:

Sorry snkneoshingo2k4.:depress: I saw this was going to be a tribute for Chris MacDonald, and I do appreciate all the works Iāve read from him. My bad at not seeming sensitive enough. Gomen nasai.
As I said before, Iāll do anything I can to help out.
No problem vasili10,I thought you didnāt knew who I was referring to because you didnāt refer to him.No problem man,itās a simple mistake, and you are easily forgiven. And thanks for the support, now I know I will always have someone to turn to whenever I have something I canāt take on by myself.Thank you to you,Sano and anyone else with a kind and true heart. We shall see each other again very soon.
Iāll list whatās in the KOF 2003 Arcadia Book and you can tell me what you want. Iāll probably post this on the KOF Thread below this one since it SERIOUSLY needs a bump.

Re: KOF faq for Kao Megura
I think that guy with the women trying to drag him home is a parody on Muten Roshi (see http://fightingstreet.com/folders/variousinfofolder/clebsfolder/celebs2page.html bottom of the page).
Oh and in case you own the Japanese version of House Of The Dead 2, go here:

Aerialgroove - Cool Page, man!
Snkneoshingo2k4 - No problem, give me about 2 weeks or so due to me scanning other stuff and being super busy.
Thank you Sano, and I canāt wait for the scans. If this isnāt too much of trouble, can you do me a little favor and ask Lantis if you can help him out on the KOF plot guide faq update heās doing,of course by giving him all the story parts in the mook.Thank you so much in advance.Catch you later.
why no one answer my question !? so rival schools changed the sf time line ā¦well thatās cool
Iāve had some time to look over SF Eternal now, and some notes that I feel people should know:
-It is an impressive artbook, with lots of both old and new works, quite a few I hadnāt seen yet. However, it does have quite a few things missing, but I didnāt expect for it to have EVERYTHING anyway. Highlights (for me at least!) included a small full-body sketch of Gouken and five older sketches of Chun Liās early history grouped together with the sketch of her and Gen together, all credited to the same artist. I liked that the artworks were described and indentified by artist and probably place of original appearance, too. Thereās also interviews with artists Akiman, Shoei, Kinu, and Ikeno. On the downside, I wish the book had all of SFZ3ās game character art since there wasnāt that much of it to begin with; it had most but not all of what I was expecting, although it did have SnH Ryuās in-game bust (finally I see this in an artbook!) I also saw that Goukiās full-body art for SI wasnāt included either. Oh, and of course art of sub characters would have been nice also, but I wasnāt holding my breath for them.
-On to the text. A very large history of the game development from SF to 3S. The SFEX series and SSF2XR get light treatment in the book. Next is character stories and profiles. One page for each character with 2 paragraphs of storyline material, stats for everyone except SF3-only characters of course, a summary of special and super moves using in-game screenshots and an overview of character usage notes in the progression of the series as a bottom set of paragraphs. Two surprises here: SnH Ryu is presented in the same manner as the other characters but with no stats just like SF3-onlyās, and Gill is completely MIA! Thereās no page for Gill at all. I wonder if theyāre going to keep things like this for the US translation.
-Finally the endings. I think AACās format is more complete, and I think Eternal summarizes some parts while keeping others intact. Maybe they actually say what canonically happens and what doesnāt, but not too sure about this yet. This section also has some extra paragraphs about the endings in general for each game set, so good stuff might be there as well. At the end of the book are two character relation charts, one for SFZ3 and one for SF3 3S. This is probably where the majority of the references to Eternal in the plot guide came from. Unfortunately both charts describe relations only among the selectable characters and no one else. No sub character indications even among the major ones (eg. Gouki not shown to have had an older brother Gouken in SFZ3 or 3S, heck Kenās not even shown to have a wife Eliza and a son Mel in the SF3 chart)
With all this said, I now have all six books on the plot guideās book list (and yes there need to be more in the future) so people can ask if they want info from them. Eternal I feel was worth the $33 I paid for, but beyond $40 I think that can be stretching it. Still looking forward to how the US SF Eternal will be like. And Iām really curious to see how the books from Living Room Games will be. And of course for me, the search still continues!
Was your question still if anyone else from RS can match Kyo Kusanagi? Sorry thedude.com, I donāt know that one.
