Nope.
The worst part of that scenario is that those people will never pass logic 101, even at the shittiest community college on Earth.
P.S.
The actual worst part is that people will use a TE or SE over an HRAP.

The worst part is that you fucking jackasses are still talking about this. My TE came last week, and the turbo function, as it applies to SF4, is so inconsistent as to require an entirely new skillset to actually use to make the already absurd execution concepts of the game any more consistent than plinking and doubletapping. Which you fruits all use why? To make links and execution easier than the designers intended.
I’m not even convinced i’d use it in MAME for shooting games over MAMEFX’s buil-in autofire option. Find another way to pretend you don’t pick Ryu to make up for waning relevance in an atrophied scene, Alex.
Huh, as much hot (yet incorrect) fiyah you spit and how much shit I’ve seen you talk, I don’t think you’ve ever shown up to a MO tournament… I’d know.
Why’s that?
But people who use that logic are screwed in the head. I have legs but should that mean I can kick people in the shins during a match? I don’t have any problem with a stick having turbo functionality. Hell, I don’t even care if a stick has programmable macros. I don’t have to take advantage of it if I choose not to. Whatever extra features a controller has doesn’t particularly affect me unless it can’t be turned off. But anybody even half paying attention to the concept of “tournament” would naturally figure out that mechanical assistance of that nature, something not supported within the game’s programming, is cheating.
Even if they’ve never played in a tournament before, pretty much everybody should understand the concept of the corked bat or the cheat sheet. I feel like this whole issue of people thinking turbo is ok is more willful ignorance than anything else. People use turbo fully knowing they’re cheating and only when they get caught do they “not know it was against the rules.”
The actual worst part is that people will use a TE or SE over an HRAP.

This!
When I got my hrapex the first thing I did was to kick out the 3k, kept the 3p for ultras. Why? Because it eliminates all room for error.
Ban 3k/3p for sticks in serious competition imo.
Not that that would be the issue here but clearly people can not let it go.
You should see his website…
haha agreed
There’s a big difference between p-linking and using turbo functions from 3rd party controllers. One is in the game, and one isn’t. You can’t just say, hey, they both make links easier than the designers intended, so that justifies anything that makes links easier than the designers intended. Might as well let people bring programmable pads.
Nigga please. Which pad player did I lose to? I never said that anywhere but yo punk ass said that to that otha nigga in the thread. Ima play any nigga stick or pad, it dont matter to me. Muscle memory over single button presses anytime nigga.
Nigga thinkin you come in here like wesley snips and spit some major game or somethin.
Well stop bitching about it and play. Change YOUR pad while you’re at it. It’s almost February, Baby Girl.
And who the FUCK is Wesley Snips?
Happy MLKJr Day
Oh bitte halt doch dein dummes Maul, du glaubst doch selber net an das Zeug.
It isnt enough that he spams the german boards with that shit now he started to spread the love… worldwide xd…:china:

as to the time of 2009-01-19 18:58 GMT+1 i have NOT posted or registered myself in any German forum. Can you prove the shit your talking out from your mouth ?? Which forum is it ?? Whats the URL ?? if you cannot prove, your spamming your rage.
the vid by the way is an old one, and yes ive been testing my opponent of being stupid or not and got my face full and he recorded, that brian lost vs me afterwards lot of times with his fei, but i dont see any posing purpose beating someone like him.
now to you, from your hate posting it looks like you are pissed on completely, go an jump into your toilet and flush yourself away, in german words: verpiss dich !
I’ve always just assumed turbo was banned…out of common sense. It’s not there by default. I duno. Maybe I’mw eird.
actually, the button binding issue needs to come to a conclusion one way or another… im a stick user but can play on pad.
whats to stop me from making my extra buttons on the te serve a useful purpose to my character?
i use chun and she has a combo that involves sliding the buttons like so:
fp,hk,mk,lk,mk,hk.
the problem with that method is that if i accidentally graze mp (this happens most of the time) i will instead get an ex canceled low fierce into non dash canceled fa… which means i’ve blown 2 stocks of meter AND left myself wide open to eating an ultra… thats the reason why i dont use that combo, fucking it up even once could basically lose me the entire match. (chuns very meter dependant and low life)
however if i use the extra buttons on my te stick and change them to fierce and roundhouse, i can piano from the fierce as an extra button and theres virtually no chance that i will get an ex cancel… i’ve been in training mode and i was able to pull off this piano EASILY one right after another. the extra button method also for whatever reason, makes it so that i never get an ex legs out, which is the other problem with using the arcade default configuration.
now i’m not saying that i need to use this… but if no one is going to stop me, then i most certaoinly will, the cpmbo that i’m talking about uses NO METER and causes like 600 stun plus a knockdown into an ambiguous crossup, into the same exact combo as before.
so seriously, this issue needs to be resolved with the quickness… if pad players are allowed to map buttons to 3p and 3k or focus or throw, then stick users should be allowed to map buttons to wherever they see fit, as well.
i see no reason why a honda or blank or chun will NOT use the extra buttons on there sticks to make pianoing a breeze.

…They are.
The point is, you wouldn’t need to on a stick since the 3 button layout is far more natural to access than say, a DualShock or standard DC controller.
^^^where? what page? i must have missed it…
also, i’m not talking about a turbo or macro, i’m talking about insofar as i know a legal way of using extra buttons.
if evo is default then i can STILL use the extra 3p button(cause fierce will come out instead) that is DEFAULT to make that chun combo much easier.

Well for me, its the previous page. But I have my forum settings on show 100 posts per page…
Nor am I. 3K, throw, etc. are not macros/turbo they’re called bindings. And as far as I know, sticks are permitted to use them just as much as pad users are.
ok then case solved… i’ma be using this till the cows come home…
i thought it was still up in the air. sorry.

Map extra two buttons on stick to difficult link normal - let’s say LP. now you have three LP. Drum the three buttons for some sort of tripple-tapping (piano) that is easier than double-tapping?
Or map both extra buttons to throw - throw tapping!
If you can have the same command mapped on multiple buttons, that is.
What do I know, my stick only has 6 buttons anyway.
map all 8 buttons on your TE to throw and octouble tap that shit!
