Alright, I got my new monitor in today. I’ve got two setups, one 360 and one PS3, if people are up for games some time soon. Both have SSF4, 360 has Mahvel and BB:CT, PS3 has HDR.

Hey guys. Had a question because I’m intrigued by the responses I’ve seen to this so far. Gamerbee obviously caused some huge shockwaves by eliminating Jwong. Now, I wanted to ask you guys what you thought about Gamerbee making it so far at the tournament. I’ve heard a lot of opinions, and out of personal curiosity about people’s views, would like to know what you all thought.
I watched GamerBee play in the “high stakes” tourney that Team Spooky held after semi-finals and I think he made it really far because 1) he’s a really really good player and 2) American players had no clue how to fight Adon (like not beating out Jagur Kicks and trying to SRK/Headbutt safe-jumps they didn’t realize are safe) Chris Hu was talking about how Adon is a big problem for America since so many people like Justin counted Adon out as bottom tier and by the end of the tournament Marn was playing on about even level with GamerBee imo. I think GamerBee is extremly good at SF and would have made it far even if people had studied Adon before hand but I don’t think he’s at JWong’s level if JWong knows the match-up (I mean, we all saw how nervous Justin was about facing an Adon player) If nothing else I like that he proved just how overlooked Adon was, people are counting out some of the new characters too early!
I couldn’t believe it was widely considered adon was bad before evo since Gamerbee has been all over youtube beating people, I mean I even recorded a match of him from the replay channel like 2 months ago playing against Daigo, and everyone said “NO WAY THATS DAIGO!1!!!” [media=youtube]KxZP1vXHn6Q[/media] . I think he deserved it tbh, considering how well he outsmarts his opponents, and I was expecting it too when I heard he entered especially since people wouldn’t know what to do against adon.
