I’ve actually heard about the friends/replay thing before but like half the replays are three rounds of Kens punishing each others’ fierce shoryukens with fierce shoryuken anyways.
On a semi-related note, I finally got a copy of SSF4 for PS3. If anyone wants to get some online games in I have accounts on both now.

i been playing ssf4 ranked. I even got my first bona fide hatemail since getting a ps3!
Maybe it’s just me, but it feels like there are more ridiculously terrible people on PSN. I gave ranked a whirl yesterday and I played a guy who literally did nothing but jump forward RH, jump back RH, taunt. I think he was high.
I’ve never faught anyone who was even close to that bad but yeah…I feel like PSN SF4 got a lot worse in general from vanilla to super
And is it just me or is like 40% of PSN Makoto players now? I don’t play online much but when I do see her more then anyone else, struck me as weird because I don’t really think of Makoto as a “beginner character” or anything
Edit: and grats John! It’s weird, I haven’t gotten any hate mail since the first week on vanilla online and during that week it was like every other noob felt the need to rage at you for actually blocking their random shoryu/tatsu/ultras

I’m actually getting a monitor for my PS3 on Wednesday (hopefully) so I might be able to host something soon if all else fails. I’d just have to clear it ahead of time with my roommates.
Also, did anybody else see the tier list Mago/Nemo made? Their top tier is Boxer, Honda, Guile, Rufus, Cammy, and Fei Long which pretty closely matches the general consensus around here from what I’ve seen. All you’d have to do is replace Fei with Chun Li or Dictator.
Jeff’s place sounds good, we could have people play over here but space is really limited. I’m really eager to get in some matches with my new main
After learning Cammy more I seriously think she’s one of the best characters in the game, glad to see that Mago and Nemo agree. I’m so much more enthusiastic about SF with her just because I don’t feel hopeless in any situations like I did with Gen…I should have started tier-whoring earlier lol
Low stamina, so-so ultras, and possibly bad matchups with Honda and Boxer…other then that Cammy= perfect
Dictator is really well balanced in super imo, I would be shocked if he comes out anywhere other then "B tier"
I don’t doubt top-tier Fei Long at all, he was the most underrated character in vanilla imo
Switch Chun-Li and Guile’s places and I agree with Mago/Nemo’s tier list 100%…but ChunLi and Guile are both charecters I don’t really know that well so it’s all with a grain of salt
Like did any of you guys watch NSB15? Between all the Chuns there I didn’t see any U2 or any flipkick AA despite getting plenty of oppurtunities to do so…I think either Chun is overlooked by the Japanese or we’re wrong about how to play her…time will tell I guess
