Turbo Grafix 16 Mini just arrived. Thought I cancelled it. Wiped the box down with quickness with and delivery envelope with the some Clorox soaked Clorox wipes.
Will check it out at a later date. Wish Snatcher was translated though…
Finally get to check out Cho Aniki, Bonk, Dracula X and Ys I & II . Right now the PS2 is the only retro console I’m giving attention to until I finish Killer7 and Shinobi.
NMS was a good game from the start. Just not for everyone.
It became a much better game with each update.
And it keeps getting new updates that add more stuff to it each year.
How well does this run? I haven’t played any JoJo’s in a long time but when I did the GGPO/2df versions had missing backgrounds and the 2P combo counter glitch, are those still a problem?
Another weird point where I seemingly part ways with a large portion of the Diablo fanbase… there’s actually people that DON’T want free trading to be a thing in D4. I’m not sure if this is a case of people just “drinking the koolaid” and blinded by their love of the game, or perhaps they got so used to the pc-version of D3 where nothing is can be traded… but that shit is strange, imo. (ANOTHER point where console wins out. On console — players can trade nearly anything. haha the pc version is so gimped) If you have another situation where I can’t simply drop an item off to a friend… now you’ve killed the incentive for co-op play even MORE. What the hell happened here? I thought there would be more players that were on board with that concept— you find an item that’s just not what you’re looking for at the moment… maybe your friend could use it so you drop it for them either for free or in a trade.
whatever; at this point I’m basically keeping tabs partly out of morbid curiosity to see what happens with this franchise in the next few years; D4 is already quite a hard sell at this point for me; they already have several strikes against it in my book.
Prime 4 was originally being done by Bandai Namco but they shit the bed so bad with it Nintendo publicly announced Nintendo wasn’t happy with what Bamco was doing.
So they took Bamco off the project, giving the development of the game to Retro (who made the original trilogy) and starting over from scratch
It’s because Bamco has been helping them a loooooooot since the Wii era with first party titles. They’ve been the main company thats been helping with Smash since Brawl.
So my guess is that Nindy thought Bamco could handle the project
^ha, this is amusing, as Bandai Namco recently got on my bad side when I finally noticed how lazy they are on certain things, at least with the Soul Calibur franchise. That latest one is shaping up to be my most regretted purchase of this console generation. It puts me in a bit of a sour mood just seeing the icon on screen when I’m scrolling through my list of games… I still don’t get how a certain friend tolerates that shit…then again, some people just have incredibly bad taste.
