Is Trials of Mana good?
Can someone help me understand the Soul Calibur hate? I really donāt get it. Seems like that community hasnāt even TRIED to enjoy their game since 2. I feel like IV was the low point and every game besides it has been pretty damn solid.
Thereās always something with each game that causes a major spark of hate. V had the problem of having half the cast being gone and being replaced by expies. The addition of 2D elements like the meter pissed off 3D purists. Reversal edge grinds a lot of people gears in VI and wasnāt helped by the fact it was a surefire way to build meter quick. Thereās the never ending battle of allowing custom characters in ranked.

Hm. I see. I get the lack of cast members in five but, everything else seems so fixable. Seems like SC dudes mostly just give up on their game over one aspect rather than finding things to enjoy about it and making an effort to have things changed.
I think the problem with Soul Calibur is the game had a larger casual base than a competitive one. The series never seems to be able to hold on to their players long term.
Yeah. Itās kinda sad. Iāve never tried to really enjoy the games competitively myself, but I am happy they exist. Iād hate for 6 to be the last game. Iāve gotten a ton of fun out of every game regardless.

well, no fighting game purist shares my concern, Iām sure (since duh they care more about the core aspects of the game)ā¦ but that custom character mode in SC now is basically ruined at this point. It has to load every time you change anythingā¦even if youāre just cycling through the various optionsā> *go to shirt categoryā check out shirt #1 = load time. check out shirt #2 = load time. Check shirt #3 to see how it looks = more load time. Check out shirt #4 = more load time. Itās like this for everyfuckingthing. Whoever set it up this way is a piece of shit that needs to get punched as hard as possible in the face. I didnāt even think it was possible to fuck up a custom character mode in this way, but they figured out how to do it and proceeded to sink further below even the lowest expectations. This is on top of 99% of the items being recycled from past games anyway. It irks me just thinking about this shit. Iād recommend people not even spend 5 cents on this pathetic, shoddily made nonsense.
FURY UNLEASHEDāok, I was about to buy this and looking at the store page on itā¦ then noticed the co-op is only local. Iām still getting it (probably just on Switch then since no online multiplayer capability) but thatās quite a letdown, as I was expecting to play this with certain friends onlineā¦I keep seeing that a lot this genā¦ games that wouldāve been perfect for online co-op/multiplayer, then you see it either doesnāt have it at all or is only local co-opā¦what the hell, man?
that reminds meāI brought this up with someone the other dayāAgents of Mayhem is a classic example. The game seems tailor-made for 3-player co-op madness (youāre playing 3-person squads all the time, switching between characters whenever you want)ā¦and itās pure single-player. What in the hell was up with that decision? The game mightāve been slightly more successful if was co-op, I think.

Lord of Exile, Chaos Galaxy, Jetboard Joust, Savage Halloween, Rick Henderson, Sir Lovelot, Iron Vulture, Clan N, FictionSphere, Dragon Blazers, Terror of Hemasaurus And Mighty Goose all look good to fantastic .
Elphame is an honorable mention. Itās so fucking ugly itās almost charming. Looks like a CD-I game.

Edit: It does do that, but the load times are way faster than they are on console I assume. That would be agonizing if it took any longer than the half second it takes on PC.

I took the Philips TV back and got a new, better model. Holly balls the colors on this thjng is GODLIKE. Thingnis a 4K Ultra HD android TV as well so some of my favorite apps are built right into the sucker.
I cannoy get over how good Animal Crossing looks on this baby. I didnāt even cost much more than that floor model I returned.
