Aftermath is going to introduce armor breaking moves into mk11. So now people can get called out on fatal blows and breakaways.
Iāmā¦bamboozled.
EA actually promoting modding on C&Cā¦and not throwing a bichfit by removing it from the remake and original?

Well just more evidence that GaaS is not a great way to go probably. Or at least canāt last for more than a few years.
Absolute ass.
Donāt be so quick on this one, We almost had exactly that with the Xbox One before Microsoft back peddled. And all it takes is a quick forced update to bring it back. Itās like that now with Google Stradia.
Good thing they see to reason. Probably the backlash with the uproar on their own forums and thousands of people uninstalling the game from Steam.
EA realise the only way to bring back old School C&C fans is to play ball with them, allow mods and such. With Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight and the godawful mobile game EA knows it needs to cater to the old school fans if they want the game to sell at all.
Also EA allowed much of the of C&C Remastered is built by the fan community, some of the code as well as the new and up to date in game graphics.
Itās the only reason I even bother to preorder the game
So I found this little brawler rpg on the Switch Discount store called Dusk Diver. Based on the couple reviews Iāve seen itās like a light Persona Brawler rpg and the city it takes place in is a real recreation of a city in Taiwan I think I heard.
Iām just wondering if anyone else has heard of it, played it, has thoughts on it? It looks like a fun budget brawler with some rpg elements to give a bit more breadth. I might scoop itā¦
Iāve heard of it. Itās been on my āto buyā list for a while. The story seems fairly basic but itās aesthetics and combat are super appealing to me.
YMMV but most reviews have been giving it a middle of the road 6 or high 7.
Yea it reminds me of a PS2 budget title with big dreams. The combat looks pretty fun and I like the aesthetic. Like it has style.
One review compared itās combat speed and pace to Platinums which made me kinda happy. Not the depth, just the pace. Fast and frantic.
As the actual article points out, the real issue isnāt GaaS itself, but the neurotic need to constantly update these games every five minutes.
Just obtained the Master Sword in Zelda: ALTTP. Game is pretty cool and I love the dash, especially against walls, haha. Not sure how far I am, but I originally wanted to finish the first Zelda before starting it, but decided I needed that 16-bit Goodness.
Fortune teller theme is awesome, the dungeon music is awesomely creepy and the time travel was āWhatā¦ā. Not doing anything in order apparently, found the Ice Rod while I was on Death Mountain (?) because
Summary
I was dodging the monster and ball on the mountain thinking they were enemies. Then there was travel skip that shows the present land there is elevated to the castle , haha :
Grabbed the fins before that as well. I believe it was after the gauntlets.
Wish Nintendo put in digital manuals for these releases like Sega is doing with the Ages line.
So yeah. The graphics are nice and the expressions link has, are emotive and cute. Running into wall with the dash, pulling/attempting to pull items, and the little sweat cues.
This and Killer 7 are the games for the rest of May.
Killer 7 is fantastic and I turned a co-worker on to it so I gotta have something to talk about with him. Really dig the onrails of this game the Heaven Smile are creepy as fuck, especially the runners. The whole game is creepy actually but the style is something else entirely.
June is going to be finishing up Zelda (NES) and Travis Strikes Again got this for Christmas and went HARD on it. Iām hoping and betting Iāll be able to get to, and finish the Linkās Awakening remake and The Silver Case, before the new Yakuza drops.
Itās not time travel in ALTTP. Itās more likeā¦dimension hopping.
Yeah. I never considered Dark World time travel. Cause itās not. Like you said itās dimensional hopping or even a parallel universe. A Link Between Worlds, which is a direct sequel to LTTP confirms as such.

Not a huge fan of the art direction.
Yeah as Crotcha said, you are going between two different parallel worlds.
Still playing Spin Rhythm. Most fun Iāve had with a music game in a long while. It pretty hard doe. I tried playing on hard but I failed each time so I just went back to normal. And there is still expert after hard.
Also, I like this music. I guess its dupstep or somethingā¦not really sure. But I like it. Shit fuckinā hits and it makes you wanna move. I think the hate for this music is just like the hate for techo back in the 90ās.
Yeah once I went back to the game, and fought the boss it was like āOoohhā, but I didnāt know what else to call it before then. I think the Old Man says it when I he gives you the item, now that you mention it.
The overworld theme in the Dark World is With that, I wish there was an option to lower the music. I had this happen before with older adventure games, and even the new Monster Boy, where the music is fantastic but after awhile it would be nice just to putz around without having the music constantly going.
LTTP is one of the few games I never get tired of playing. That shit is timeless. Only annoying part is that I always end up with 999 rupees because itās so damn easy to collect money and hard to spend on anything
