I’m pretty sure he means he doesn’t like that animation style. Lot of very exaggerated squash and stretch. I like the way Skullgirls looks but its not all gravey for me either, I don’t like Ms Peacock for example as I don’t really dig that era of cartoons and animation.
By extension as beautifully animated as is it I don’t like the look of Cup Head at all, visually speaking.

Depends on the just frame move but in general yea I agree.
All of them in general. I’ve yet to see a Just Frame move that made me happy that input existed.
One of those bad FG ideas that somehow gained traction for “reasons”.
Yea, I think the FRC system is great as an example of a just frame system I like.

You know, it really is funny. I bummed that I couldn’t buy FFVIIR due to my money situation being uncertain. But now that I’m getting money and can easily pay bills, have plenty left over, I could get FFVIIR, no problem. But now I’m thinking? You know what? I don’t mind not having the game right now. This has been one of my most anticipated games of 2020 and now that I can get it, I’m surprisingly cool with not having it right away. Did I reach some strange zen level plane on something? Or has this pandemic got me all effed up?

Fantastic shmup. Supports up to 4 players at once, is more single stage driven then 1cc clear driven, and is good for beginners and experts alike. Fantastic game.
Jamestown + is always one of my go to recommendations for beginners because it can take you all the way from day 1 to expert level. It’s not like a Cave game where the whole screen explodes in bright shiny gems and you have no fucking clue what any of it means lol.

Also man I’m trying real hard to like these Shin Megami Tensei games but they kind of fucking suck with how dumb fuck hard as hell everything hits. Like seriously spent an hour training a team up in 4 for this minor as fuck boss fight, throw up a defense buff and still get completely one shot by the thing.
I’m so fucking bored now. I’m tired of wandering around this fucking floor unable to move forward because the balance seems fucking stupid as shit. I’m sure I am doing something wrong but the game spent an hour tutorialing me so if I’m still doing it wrong then the tutorial is dog shit and doesn’t teach you properly and is making the game harder then it should be.
Very frustrated.
Edit: Oh and Press Turn sucks compared to Once More. Struggle to think of something more frustrating in a turn based rpg then the next character losing their turn because the previous one Missed. I already lost a turn for missing how the fuck you gonna take my next turn to? That some serious horse shit.
