Havenāt noticed any returning characters, but Iāve only played a few MHs. Even still they have card board personalities, I wouldnāt call any of them memorableā¦except for maybe the handlerā¦and not for good reasons.
Itās story is there for no other reason then to justify mass slaying of wildlife. Thatās it.

In Monster Hunter yeah it is basically has no actual story or distinctive characters besides the monsters and the cat helpers.
Making original characters and story for a Monster Hunter adaptation is necessary, the real world folk transported to another world (Western isekai basically) bullshit is what makes this a terrifying prospects.

Nope. Monster Hunter characters donāt even get names. Everyone is referred to by their job title and in the case of World, their generational fleet. Characters are just there to serve a function.

Shame, feel like we donāt need anymore turn based. Dark alliance or Dragon Age style wouldāve been a great compromise. Oh well, Iāll probably still buy it anyway. I like Larianās work.
thereās room for both styles. if you like turn based games but donāt like anime or jrpgs you might not have a lot of options. no need to kill off something that works and is enjoyable to a bunch of people.

Also did not know baldurās gate 3 would be turn based. As someone who never really played the old ones and enjoyed the hell out of the divinity original sin games, I welcome the change to turn based.
