I hooked myself up with GamePass and soon will upgrade to gamepass Ultimate. Downloading Dead Cells and Enter the Gungeon. Adding Gears 4/5 to the download list and maybe more. Either way its a stupid great value since i practically have it for 3 years after getting on some XB Live deals.

Another game I almost totally forgot about. Second Sight was hella underrated, and easily the best of that short wave of āSci Fi power based third person shooterā genre we had going for awhile. PSI Ops was the other big one IIRC.
Def gonna be playing Metroid tonight. Iām going for that sweet delicious 100% in both games.

I had money once in my steam walletā¦soon I was getting a bunch of strange friend requests from Russian women.
Thatās when my paranoia kicked in.
Yeah, but the scanning is honestly one of my favorite aspects of those games. Even reading a paragraph of flavor text that Iāve already seen a hundred times; Iāll still read through it. I realize most normal people probably find it mundane, and aggravating in its necessity (for the 100% or to literally progress), but Iāve always found it such an interesting way to give your world context and personality. Metroid has some of the most consistently written lore that also doubles as an amazing Sci Fi setting. I would honestly argue the large majority of its most interesting story beats arenāt even directly expirienced by Samus when youāre playing as her in any of the games. Samusā story is a relatively small one, in a grand scheme of events that unfold in that universeās timeline. The environmental storytelling really pushes that feeling forward. I think thatās honestly a big part of whatās made me able to appreciate Dark Soulsā way of environmental storytelling.
But hey Iām also a psychopath who enjoys reading hours upon hours of text in games so, yeah
Anyway Metroid is good

Metroid Prime is still one of my favorite story driven FPS games. I never played 2.
How do you all get hype for that project gg game when it dont even show any gameplay or anything?
I still play VJ here and there. Its a really great game.
