George is my favorite. Hes great as Sephiroth. I believe that voice could strike fear in someone.
Tim Daly voiced Superman in the animated series.
Really? My mistake. Batman was more my jam from back then.
IIRC heās been the voice for Seph since AC hasnāt he? checks Yeah heās been the voice in KH2. This is the first time in years he hasnāt been Seph.
Yep, I guess Square was goin the cheaper route with VAs, but it mostly worked out. I miss Barrett and Sephs voice from AC, but I got over it fairly quick
Im pretty sure its the first time in years any of them havent been these characters, core cast i mean. Its why im a bit disappointsd in him in the remake. New guys not awful but so much of Sephiroths presence in this game is about tormenting Cloud, I think George could have brought that menacing joy to it that he gave Sephiroth in the movie, I really enjoyed it.
I really like Barrets new voice, but the old VA never really got a shot at the range of emotions current Barret gets to so I wonāt say heās worse or better or anything.
Nice job on those two different Barret typos lol
Edit: too slow lol
My phone cant decide how his name should be spelled so it just chooses random shit lol.
Not only was Newborn Roth menacing, he brought that commanding voice. You get why ppl would look up to and follow Sephiroth so easily. I can admit that part is def missing in the new guy even tho I like him
Thatās not the case with the other most of the people ragging on SA1.
There wasnāt anything looking that crazy at the time. Seeing that running on VGA in 1998 was nuts. Those graphics and set pieces were unlike anything at the time.
The Nier remaster

Gameplay has been reworked to please Automata fans
give it to me now
Thatās cool. I still need to get Automata and play Nier. I have Nier but only played like an hour.
I might actually buy this then. The combat was pretty much the only unsatisfying part of that game that would prevent me from ever replaying it.
That said, I donāt think the combat balance in Automata was very good so I still need to see it after itās out first.
Bought. Reworked combat was what I waiting to hear, Automata was kinda like Bayonetta-lite, so this is good news to me. The old Replicant just looked unappealing combat wise
ā¦I woulda played that.
Why do cloudās legs looks like Kim Kās ass?
Yeah the game is just⦠not pleasant.
Story doesnāt make sense
For some reason you have to make your own OC Do not steal instead of doing what Adventures did and offering you to play as existing Sonicverse characters
The levels are too short and like half of each stage is you watching cutscenes like characters doing le epic flips and jumps, so the game takes away the control from you too often
Sega still insists on doing the switches between 3D and 2D panes mid-level, even though classic Sonicās stages are 2D-only
The bosses are all a joke and offer no challenge whatsoever, literally just Boost -> autolock -> Mash X, repeat 4 or 5 times and youāre done. At least the final boss actually had multiple phases
One of the main villains just goes āIām not beaten yet!ā, flies away and is never seen again, so I can only assume Eggman repurposed Infinite for the Death Egg Robot?
The controls are just fucking awful. Theyāre very unresponsive and thereās a massive problem with chaarcter inertia - I legit died more times trying to jump over things than actually getting hit by the boss or the enemies
But yeah soundtrackās alright. Sadly thatās not enough to carry a Sonic game on its own
Cannot unsee.
I always thought the combat in Nier was fine, shallow but decent enough with a few really cool boss sequences.
