I too think he has plenty of games to work with, but I get it. He’s probably way more comfortable making content on From Software titles.
And yeah, the way people parade a lot of the stuff he says as fact is very annoying. But as you said that’s less so his fault as it is the people who need to validate themselves by pretending they have some kind of “insider knowledge” over others.
There’s some really great stuff being made on Zelda lore though, yeah. I’ve always felt like BOTW would be a perfect oppurtunity for him to indulge upon, but I guess he feels differently. It is pretty strange for his name to be so deeply rooted in Zelda lore and yet we can’t get a single Zelda video from him, lol.
Even besides Zelda tho. There’s tons of other things he could expand upon. I would LOVE to see him make content on Blasphemous. It’s so cryptic and mysterious about everything, so why not? Some of the bosses in that game warrant their own 20 minute videos.
Log into Granblue and I’m greeted by an army of Beelzebub. Is he included in the season pass because I doubt these fuckers played through the 8 hour RPG mode to unlock him already.
I liked it. Had fun combat, a cool setting and great bosses. The story is kinda wonky and loses its shit by the end which is unfortunate, and there are these stealth sections that are absolute doodoo but generally few and far between. I dug it over all but it does have some issues.
Word? I should probably give it another shot. I finished LoS1 and liked it a lot, and I finished the 3DS one on PS3 as well. I didn’t like it nearly as much as the IGAvania’s but I still had fun.
2 I let my brother play a bit on my old PC and while he loved the first game he could not get into the sequel.
I didn’t play it for too long before shelving it. One thing I do appreciate though, is that while LoS1 literally ran at like > 15-20 FPS almost at all times on PS3, the sequel always hit 30 from what I’ve seen. It’s impressive when you think about how much the original version dragged its ass.
