He literally runs around calling Jenova his mother. Lucretia is. His motivation is based around Jenova being his mother. That makes zero sense if he actually read the through his origins. He’d know that wasn’t the case.
Cloud killed the baddest man on the planet after getting run through with a 7ft long sword. He performed a feet no one had against the man that ruined his town. That trumps anything Zack had done from the perspective of what is important to Cloud.
I will agree that them being friends could work. If they were truly close friends that. But that isn’t how the situation is presented at all. So you end up with Tifa, knowing Cloud is full of shit, co-signing his story of being a SOLDIER. Recommending him to Barret and putting the lives of four of her friends in grave danger for dude she hasn’t seen in years that she found in a state of delirium at a train station.
it’s a great game, it’s just that ending is giving a bad revelation vibe that this is going to turn into some serious bullshit.
It is like you’ve won an awesome vacation where everything is going awesome and then at the end of it all some bad shit happens (like your shit gets robbed) that makes you start questioning whether that was all good after all.

The difference is that if he doesn’t, then Sephiroth has no reason to ever go after Cloud. Sephiroth is after this one guy who somehow fucked him up. This whole time Cloud doesn’t understand why Sephiroth would be after him.

No she doesn’t. She knows Zack was there and not Cloud. She knows exactly what went down. This is presented in game. She had no idea Cloud was there. He was too ashamed to take off his helmet. Zack tries to convince him to take off his helmet and he refuses. Tifa doesn’t find out he was there until they fall into the Lifestream.
Not a good comparison. Kefka was always an unbalanced lunatic. Sephiroth was known for his cool and collected nature. His descent into madness was handled and presented poorly.
i always thought the point was that cloud was some nobody that happened to kill sephiroth. sephiroth underestimates his opponents will power and gets tossed for it and at least that part is a consistent of sephiroth’s personality he toys around with cloud until he gets bopped and then is surprised by that shit.
If it isn’t running at a consistent 30 fps…then the obvious thing would just be to lower the res until it is especially if dynamic resolution isnt cutting it. Weird decision on namco’s part.

This guy is mostly a Tekken content creator, and I clicked it against my better judgement. I got about 2 minutes before I had to close it from the cringe. Everybody sounds like a FouGheyZhee.
Also lols @ some posters complaining yesterday that the game is too short. A glorified early access release being too short, huh? Yeah, I couldn’t see that one coming. It’s best you hit up all of the side content so you don’t feel completely robbed.
