It’s literally the bombing run from 7s intro. That’s it. Nothing more aside from a couple new scenes and character moments. It’s worth checking out. The combat is fun tho I’m still trying to understand all of it. I got Cloud to jump into the air and do an air combo twice last night but don’t really understand how. Gonna fuck with it more tonight.

Honestly I’m not hyped for FFRe, but damn it looks fucking amazing. I’ll watch a let’s play then a video showing what changed in the story.

Man, if only Nintendo did a quarterly hype video presentation where they could have hyped that dlc pack for LM3 and other features coming to the game along with all the other titles coming soon to the switch.

Man, I miss Vaati. 
This was such a trip down memory lane. A lot of these content creators I didn’t even know about. He mentions a lot of familiar faces though. I forgot how many awesome people we have in the Souls community man. Limit Breakers, ParryGod, SmoughTown, Illusory Wall… It’s the people like this that find ways to enjoy Souls even 5 years (or more) after we start scraping the bottom of the barrel for stuff to do. So many obscure pieces of lore that are given tons of context by the people willing to sift through code and find unused files. So many new ways to enjoy these games with the discoveries people have made about underlying mechanics or builds. Hours upon hours of enjoyment with all the silly shit people would pull off during PvP.
Makes me miss the early days of when I first started playing these games, back when all we had was Dark Souls and Demon’s Souls. There was still so much to learn about every aspect of just those two games, with more and more games on the horizon to dive into. Vaati was making videos on the regular, and I’d spend hours upon hours listening to these stories that were hidden right under my nose all this time. I never would’ve thought these worlds in Souls games had so much to offer from a narrative perspective if it wasn’t for this guy, and it allowed me to aquire a deep, deep love for these games that I rarely have for other titles.
I’m not sad that Souls ended with 3. It was an incredible conclusion to an incredible trilogy. But I am sad that I don’t know if we’ll ever see a series quite like it again. Bloodborne is a damn near masterpiece as far as I’m concerned, and Elden Ring will surely be an incredible game as well, but they still aren’t Souls.
Only Souls can truly be Souls.

That’s what I’m hoping for. Cid, Yuffie, Reeves (Cait Sith) and even Vincent didn’t get enough love.
I need more Yuffie and Cid backstory specifically. They’re the only FF7 characters I genuinely like.

I’ll be honest, I think I was too dumb of a kid or too distracted by trying to follow the main plot even to even truly remember who the characters are personality wise. That was literally the first RPG I ever played and everything about it was super new to me
