You know, I’m actually happy for FFVII fans. They really seem to like the demo. I’m not a fan of the games story but I can appreciate the craftsmanship of the demo.

Hey right on man. I’m pretty happy with the the demo myself. It got me more hype. They changed a lot to so Maybe they will change some of the stuff you didn’t like? Gonna try and get a full run through on my YouTube channel tonight.
Either way wish people would be happy for fans being happy about what they are getting more often in life. It’s more fun to share positive vibes then negative ones imo.

I like all the VAs BUT Barrett’s. Is it the same guy from Advent Children?
I don’t keep track of English VAs much, I couldn’t say. I’ll probably be playing the game in Japanese personally lol

No everyone has been recast.
I actually liked Barret a good deal. He doesn’t sound like a stereotype which would have been really easy to fall into considering his character type and who he looks like. Instead he comes off pretty serious and determined. They’ve amped up his shit talk on Cloud to.

No…none of them are. Squeenix came up with some…really weird excuse as to why. They said that they only recast the characters fo this game and the others original VA’s they had will voice any other content. I don’t get it…

I DO love Barrett’s dialogue, don’t get me wrong. The banter between him & Cloud was awesome. Gunna be fun hearing them clown each other the whole game. Lol

I have the demo downloaded, but I might pass just to keep myself fresh for the actual release. No point in teasing AND spoiling myself, lol. I’ve seen next to nothing other than a few gifs and very short segments of gameplay.
Same with RE3. That demo is coming out soon, but I’ll probably have a much harder time resisting that. 
It is literally just the first 30-40 minutes of the game so there’s not really any spoilers

I know, I was using that term pretty lightly. In all likelihood it’s all stuff I’ve already seen in previews and screenshots. I’ll still probably choose to go in as dark as possible, tho.
I didn’t know it was that short tho. I heard it was around 3 hours of gameplay.
Not gonna lie, I laughed my ass off when he said that. Cloud was so stand offish, he didn’t notice Jessie throwing her panties at him

Only major issue i got so far is how often we gettin new episodes. I don’t wanna be 50 years old trynna kill Sephiroth

Nah it’s like an hour long. Long enough to give you an idea of what they are going for. I am a fan of the presentation and game play. I’m not big on FFVII’s story though. I still may give the game a shot though.

Ah, I see. Maybe I’ll give it a shot then. I’d like to see how the combat feels, after all. If it’s only a half hour or so it can’t really reveal too much, I assume. Would like to see how it runs on a PlayStation Pro as well.
