Only if you choose to. You can punch holes in Back to the Future without trying too hard. Still amazing movies.

Prolly the reason I’m the only guy who liked Endgame, cuz I didn’t think too hard about time travel :joy:

Cause it almost never makes sense.

Same. Dr. Who did it best. Timey Whimey, it’s Wibbly Wobbly. Dont think about it too hard and just accept it.

Rules to live by for every time travel story.

Endgame is the perfect example. The moment you think a little hard the time travel leaves a bad taste in your mouth. :joy:

If nothing else, this whole shit with RE3 and FF7 finally hones in what fans actually want from Remakes.

Updated gameplay, ADDED areas but nothing removed or changed otherwise. Otherwise people would just rather have new games…which in fairness I think most of us do prefer having new games.

I don’t think fans have any clue what they want.

Never has for me. Not once. Time is weird.

Pretty sure they didn’t want the story changes to FF7.

Thankfully I’m not a fan of FF7’s story so I find it more hilarious and intriguing than anything.

Fans pretty much wanted a PS4 remaster of the original as opposed to a remake I’m guessing.

I’m curious just how bad the story changes are to make them snap tho. I’m a FF7 fanatic, I might snap too:joy::joy:

It created a logical huge mess because Zelda actually had the Triforce of Dumbness in that game.

Every outcome in OoT was a logical conclusion of what could’ve happened because of the time traveling.

You wanna see examples of plot holes in OoT?

The Song of Storms. Young Link draining the well in the past and exploring the Bottom of the Well without actually releasing Bongo Bongo.

These were dumb plot holes.

Yet, until now, it had been such a solid remake that made measured changes to supplement the classic story. Here, at the eleventh hour, it jarringly erupted into a massive spectacle that honestly felt like underdeveloped fanfiction.

Yep that sounds Nomura. Game is gettin ripped for the story changes. I actually peeped some and holy crap it sounds like Nomura shit it up spectacularly. :joy:

Holy shit, I just looked up an OG FF7 run and and it’s like, over 65 30min vids.

Are you kidding me, is the game that long?

I personally dont mind time travel, actually i love it when is done right, since some of my favorite games involve it, like Chrono Trigger and The legacy of Kain series.

But of course, that one was done superbly and dealing with the ramifications of the time paradoxes and was very clear the rules on how those were possible.

It was the game series that made me notice Amy Hennings and made me become a fan of hers.

Unless it’s a coordinated effort I doubt it as it’s coming from multiple different places.
