Even they have ran out of ideas and it’s why they are making remasters of old NFS games.
It’s so pathetic that you have the big ass developers making all of these HD remakes like COD:MW and NFS rehashes, and the indie devs are the ones making the creative and innovative games. I’ve seen a transition big time in my own personal preferences of gaming in the past 4-5 years that has leaned towards the indie games.
I’m really disappointed with how short the game is and nemesis is a bit of a pushover. Hella scripted, he doesn’t bring as much tension as trailers led you to believe.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Project Resistance took a solid chunk out of development time. It’s the same shit that the industry was plagued during the late 2000’s where every single new game had to have an online multiplayer component, no matter if it made sense or not
See…this was what I was afraid of turning out tovbe true and I kept hearing it consistently about Nemesis. This was what I meant about not being as dynamic as Mr. X was in REmake 2.
The last racing game I really liked back in the day besides Kart racers was Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition it had all the tuning, customization aspects but with arcadey driving.
Definitely a favorite of mine, wish Rockstar would bring it back, I guess technically it’s in GTA5 but I never got into the online component
I think it’s different in this case. Resistance from how the developers speak of it was something they’ve had floating around in their minds for quite a while, they just didn’t know how to go about actually making and releasing it.
I think instead of thinking of Resistance as something made to package with RE3 just so it could have online multiplayer, it’s MORE likely that RE3 was made specifically to be the package to deliver Resistance in.
As for the game itself, it’s like I said earlier. RE3 was just the absolute wrong RE game to remake because they were never going to make the game as varied and volatile as the original which honestly nearly defeats the entire purpose of making it. At the very least the divisiveness of this one will thankfully stop them from remaking any more REs.
Nah, they not bout to stop remaking RE games, I wouldn’t go that far. Lol
I’m sure they’re atleast in the planning stages of a Code Veronica remake (honestly, that game deserves one tho). After that they’re probably done with remakes
Code Veronica shouldn’t have a remake, this is why shit is ridiculous. I mean if we remake that, then what are we going to remake RE0 as well? The Outbreak games, RE4?
CV’s visuals hold up to its PS2 Era counterparts relatively well so the only reason to remake it would be an admittance that the game wasn’t very good. Which it wasn’t, but why would Capcom bother to remake a game that people are iffy on? That’s a waste of manpower, especially after RE3’s divisiveness and people loved the OG RE3.
Lol didn’t Capcom already hint that there’s a new remake planned/in the works ?
0 will definitely get remade too. If they do 4 then at best it’ll just be a graphical overhaul ala RE1 rather than a full on remake like 2 and 3. I mean there’s not much to change in terms of gameplay, which would only leave messing with the story.
At least we can say for sure 5 and 6 aren’t gonna get touched in any way
I didn’t hate 6 like everyone else did, could’ve done without all those scenarios tho. Leon’s campaign was clearly far superior to the others. Should’ve just kept building on that Lol
4 will probably still get remade just cuz Capcom is dead set on releasing it on every platform and console ever made. The amount of ports RE4 has is ridiculous. That’s probably the 2nd most milked Capcom title behind the 553566 versions of SF2
