Yeah, I dont see how SNK can make money selling only to slanty eyes.
They cant make money unless they get some big American bills all up in their sales. Is asian money even real?
Probably like american money but sideways.

Thatās not really what I meant. Iām just saying that preorders have only been open to such a small demographic I donāt see how they can already turn a profit on it. We donāt really know what the budget is on the game though. So maybe they kept costs as low as possible? I donāt know. Reviving an old IP is always a gamble.
I mean, if they have turned profit on just Asian country preorders than awesome. Just means theyāre going to make more as preorders open to more international markets.
Itās just weird to me that the game was announced almost a year ago and preorders werenāt available world wide the day of or shortly after the announcement. Most companies want preorders open as soon as possible.
Thats exactly what you said. Lots of companies make profits on the asian markets. All of your questions are basically meaningless because a lot of studios have stayed afloat without the west.
How much did it cost to make?
Enough that selling it to their dedicated local fanbase in Japan plus a few other countries made it successful. The rest of your post is just random lersonal issues you have, not ones SNK is having.
I guess I should have clarified more? I donāt know. I get why it came across that way. Iāll choose my words better next time.
Iām aware.
Clearly.
I wouldnāt call them personal issues. Just general curiosity and bewilderment. I just find it odd and confusing why SNK hasnāt made the game preorderable to the rest of the world yet, especially since its being showcased at the biggest FGC tournament in the world and people from all over the world come to play their game game at EVO. Thereās also the fact we are a little over 2 months away from its worldwide release.
At present the Chinese market eclipses both the Euro-zone and American markets, so why is that hard to believe?
We donāt know if China is responsible for making the game profitable. All this information is coming from a Korean site.
True, but I havenāt spent $399 on a console yet, especially without a game packed in. $350 was the most I spent so far, which was the PS4 Pro with Destiny 2 packed in for 2017 BF.
Word at other forums is $449 or $499 with the specs they have, and/or waiting for MS to announce the price on their new system and undercut by $50.
Except you got to play games for the 4-5 years before the PS5 came outā¦
What a dumb mindset to have.
once you start talking about 600 bucks that thing better have complete sony hardware bc the only thing thatās hard to do these days is ps3 but as i said before i would be willing to pay extra for it.
The Pro is only 2, almost 3 years old.
Yeah and PS5 comes out in 2020 earliest, which would make it around 4 years old best case scenario.
Plug 3 years in there if it makes you feel better. Itās still a stupid mindset to have. At that rate you might as well not buy any technology because in 3 years itās going to be far obsolete.
āLOL @ ALL THESE PEOPLE HAVING FUN THE PAST 3 YEARS WHILE I LOLāD AT THEM AND WAITED FOR PS5 SO I COULD PLAY PS4 GAMES! WHATA BUNCHA IDIOTS!!!ā
Nah, you just play your PS4 games on the regular PS4 that came out back in 2013.
I hope Sony copies MS on the bc whole sale, since I still have PS2 and PSX discs. Being able to play PSX, PS2 and PS4 games on a new PS5, with enhancements, would be the best.
Iām pretty happy with my PS4 Pro. Iāve had a lot of fun playing games with a pretty decent nudge in performance. No regrets, even if PS5 released this year.
Same mindset the Xbox One crowd has when the XB1 annouced it could play a selection of XBox 360 games. The same people who just sold or threw out all their Xbox 360 stuff .
I forgot about the trade-in deals toward a new system, that Iām sure will happen. Damnā¦that just knocked at least $100 of new system
Sony filed a couple of patents working on hardware emulation. If that ends up on PS5 they will be no needed for the actual hardware.
Same. The fact I had a Pro when I had interest in VR helped too. Pretty interesting that they said the PSVR will work on PS5 too.
